We were debating the merits of nuclear disarmament a couple of weeks back - and the point was made that the offered a deterrent as nobody would ever be barmy enough to use them.

I must admit, the more I learn about this, I am starting to believe that the 'fact' that NK has manufactured a nuclear warhead small enough to fit into an ICBM is either a massive bluff on Fatso's part to try to protect his regime against what would be overwhelming force and the most one sided conflict in history (apart from the Yanks successful invasion of Grenada of course  : : ) or, a familiar sounding pretext for military action in order to swat a pest, much like the myth that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction. I have no doubt that US nuclear subs are lined up along the coastline of the Korean peninsula with enough missile power trained on Pyongyang to bring down the Death Star but whether it would actually be used or not is highly questionable.

 

The only real worry I can see is that the fat one will continue to sabre rattle until he is finally sorted out, quite possibly by his near neighbour and only trading partner. If they get tired of his trouble making he'll just disappear and probably turn up in a chow mein somewhere.

 

Let's see if he can come good with his threat re Guam.

Like plenty on here, a reality check is required rather than following, lemming like, those left wing and celebrity tossers who were organising anti Trump marches and rallies in the US. How many anti KJU rallies do you think would be allowed in Pyongyang?

Something I read the other day surprised me given the level of vitriol aimed at Trump re. his foreign policies.

 

Apparently the idea to introduce a travel ban from certain Muslim countries, known to contain extreme Muslim groups, was created by the Obama administration.

My education taught me that the death of millions of innocent people in a war they had nothing to do with creating is horrific and should never ever be repeated. We also looked at the massive and terrible damage to Japan caused by the dropping of nukes and that too is something I never want to happen again.
