This thread has always been about watching and mocking or criticising Trump, because of who he is

Could you imagine in the midst of a global pandemic, Boris or Corbyn for that matter jumped on Twitter and started bragging about TV ratings and viewers. This board would have exploded.

The two are not mutually exclusive. His supporters are bona fide drooling idiots. And rejecting anything that looks or sounds remotely intelligent is definitely playing to them. Whether on purpose or by accident - I suspect its an unhappy combination of the two.

Have you seen Biden do any interviews lately? He’s mumbling, stuttering, forgetting the question. Trump will eat him alive. 
If they don’t get this virus under control then it may be a bit of a battle, but Trump will blame the Chinese, WHO, and the democrats and his voters will lap it up.

I saw one last week when I think it was his missus Who came on stage to hug him. He didn’t have a clue what was going on.

I look at him and think is he physically fit to run for office? Scary times I just don’t see Trump losing to any of the potential candidates.

Its selective but not a misrepresentation. It portrays Trump's behaviour during this completely accurately.

It is the BBC Andrew Neil. I get what you're saying, especially from an active political presenter on telly but I think most BBC faces have nailed their colours to the mast re. Trump now. What's with the "Hoax" stuff though, how negligent a comment is that?!

Does Neil still have his early evening show on BBC2? I miss This Week it was good.
