Fair play to these lads for having a go   But I really do think it's a last resort as they simply wouldn't be able to raise enough money to see the week out   Any supporters club take over would c

Will he donate as much to BWFC as Heskey did to Leicester in their hour of need (Lineker got the star billing, but Heskey shelled out £100k)?

Thought not. Don't forget his wife is a PR person first and last.

I don't know if he will, neither do you. He's taking time out and trying to help the situation, how many others have? As you know the answer is diddly squat.

Fair enough, just him Holdsworth and GiannakopStelios so far.

I wasn't aware there is a supporters trust meeting on Wednesday.

then you weren't listening to Radio Manc between 6 and 7pm tonight. Worth cranking up the iPlayer for.

He was talk sport tonight as well.

Spoke well, he seemed genuinely bothered. He has been working on the Stelios bid for free.

He did say none of the bidders have put enough money to get to see the accounts properly.

He will still get stick from some of our supporters which is pretty sad really.

He didnt have to get involved and obviously cares a hell of a lot about the football club.

Fair play Kev I say. Futile mission it may seem but cheers for having a pop.

theres plenty quick enough to have a pop at a bloke who is 10s of millions out of pocket which is even sadder

anyway, if he can get something together, good luck to him

hed be better spending his time on something that isnt such an obvious waste of time

imo

Ran through brick walls for us on the pitch.... he will do for me.

if anybody wants to attend, its ticket only and theres only 60 left

im listening to the show and its pretty apparent they havent got 35 million quid they can put their hands on

and its all about having an influence

i know if i had the 35 million quid, id be spending my money how i liked, and nobody else would be telling me how to spend it

So I'm the only person who didn't know about this till tonight? Nar, I'm not having that.

Spot on mate. Great work from SKD. I had a pop at him on how he left the club but also stated time would be a great healer on both sides.

He's a club hero for me and good on him for stepping up in our time of need.

one of the mouthpieces for the trust has an account on here and posted over the weekend

im surprised he hasnt mentioned it

If they've got money, brilliant.

If not, they do it in their own name, not mine.

If there ever is a new owner I'd encourage them to fuck them off, along with the BWSA. There isn't a single entity that unites us, the supporters. Certainly not a collection of trolls who've been craving the attention themselves since the Internet was invented.

While the LOV part of it doesn't excite me, I'm going into it with an open mind. I think all options need exploring.

I think this is an unnecessary distraction, personally. I'm not against the idea, just the people involved. I think it's all a massive ego trip.

Plus one.

I don't see the point of this right now. It's a distraction if anything at all. The club needs money, a lot of money, not more amateur organisers.

Fairly play to Davies though. He hasn't got the cash to put in huge amounts, but he might know a few that do. Nothing to lose on that front.

Your conveniently forgetting no fucker is willing to put the cash in, the only folk who are are the fans via season tickets, this been coming for a long time, the club isn't fashionable to attract cash were only going to survive on what ever the fans put in therefore it makes sense to create a community club via a trust, regarding people and egos those who doing it for those reasons will be soon found out. Negativity gets right on my tits, just sit in a corner sucking your thumb and doing fuck all then.
