Lets see how many are hiding under wagons at Calais to get to the UK if that happened - they'd be fighting to get the fuck out of here. We've been a soft touch for far too long, it makes my piss boil that we'll pay thousands a month in benefits to some British hating bearded tvvat to support his non working wife and 10 kids, yet we have 90 year old ex Tommys who can't even afford to put another bar on the fire in winter. If you believe the hype we could build a sustainable solid economy without the drain of the EU and open boarders policy. From a business point of view, for my business I need the major contractors I work for to spend lots of money. Would their spending be affected by not being in the EU? Fuck knows. Glasdons possibly. I just don't know enough about how much our economy relies on the EU and links throughout. I've got a friend who's lived in Norway for many. Years. The living wage over there is astonishing. Bottom line annual income is in our super tax bracket. It all comes down to will me or my family be better off? Who knows. But with a double dip recession fresh in my mind maybe it's worth a try.

I think the Out campaign will mention Norway a lot in the campaign but it is not a fair comparison. It's North Sea oil generated wealth is spread across a much smaller population and was invested throughout the 80's and 90's rather than funding welfare and lower tax income tax rates.

One of the biggest fallacies is that European customers of UK goods or services would no longer buy products because we are not in the club. Tell that to those current EU customers of Chinese steel. It's a global business but our unit covers Europe, Middle East and Africa with the emphasis on Europe I'm not sure how the big cheeses have worked it out but it's what they've said and they are good at what they do I'm sure it's based on a hell of a lot of assumption but I suppose nobody knows anything for sure from either side so it's all you can do Even with my work bonus aside I'd still vote in. For the very same reasons I wanted the Scottish referendum to go with 'IN' I'm happy as things are so don't see a need to role the dice of uncertainty when we can't be sure of the outcome. February 20, 201610 yr Why out, if you don't mind me asking? To keep it brief I'll mention three things. One, we're already half out as it is and moreso now with this deal, such as it is. The rest of the EU, or more specifically the Euro countries, will carry on regardless and apparently we now won't be part of the integration which is surely to come. Second, whatever benefits there are to being in are also available to us if we're out. I have not heard one In supporter give an example of one concrete, material thing which we get from being in which we wouldn't out. Not one. Third, think how this whole thing looked in 1975 when we were last asked to vote on it and how little what we have now resembles it. So if we get a referendum again in 41 years time, think if you want to be a member of that. Think if June's referendum was to join. There is so little to be scared of if we leave. In most sense we won't even notice. The greater risk is to remain and be a part of it if it all comes crashing down, which is something easily foreseeable from any number of sources, Greece, Spain, Turkey, Portugal, Syria amongst them. But we'll vote to stay, sadly, unless Boris grows a pair. Then it might be a lot closer.

February 20, 201610 yr Author We do very little business on the continent, we are mainly Uk, Middle east and China based so I'm sure where it would affect us leaving. The new deal is definitely an improvement on the face of it but I'm not convinced it's enough for me to vote to stay in. As BGOE intimates, it's so far removed from the common market the oldies voted for and with a number of countries in it now nigh on 3rd world it isn't a level playing field anymore.
