October 19, 20169 yr The King baakery is now delivering http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/food/article-3846710/Greggs-bakery-trials-delivery-service-Newcastle-social-media-meltdown.html
October 19, 20169 yr Because the last thing fat chewatts who eat Greggs need is to expend unnecessary calories waddling to the shop...
October 19, 20169 yr I know it's the "done thing" to slag Greggs off, but I actually don't mind it. There, I've said it, I must be a scutter
October 19, 20169 yr One of our sales reps has eaten at Greggs every day for the last 8 years he reckons. It will come as no surprise that he weighs about 30 stone. You rarely see him without a bottle of their strawberry flavoured mineral water, which has as many calories as Coke.
October 19, 20169 yr It's not the 'done thing' imo, as I reckon Sayers/Hampsons are equally shite. I suppose Greggs are cheaper, and their pre-packed butties always taste relatively nice and fresh too, I used to like their cheese pasties though I haven't one in years. It's slagging off the mouthbreathing salad dodgers who eat there every dinnertime - and compound the crime by creating an eyesore eating the produce on the street, an eyesore consisting of themselves in the act, the rubbish they leave and the crumbs/detritus they trail in their wake, which feed both land-bound and winged rats. October 19, 20169 yr Greenhalgh's > Greggs The juice in a Greenhalgh's meat pie is made from Angel's spunk. Fact!
October 19, 20169 yr I know someone who worked at the Greenhalgh's plant in their youth. He reckoned a 'smackhead' who he worked alongside was in the habit of doing something unspeakable into the cheese pie mix. (whites man will probably know what I mean already )

October 19, 20169 yr No. This time (Greenhalgh's) it's second-hand info, so not concretely evidenced, with the coffee chain however it's verified first-hand knowledge. Does it come as any surprise, if staff are poorly paid and treated they'll find an outlet for their anger. You only need to visit the chimp house at the zoo to realise such behaviour is deeply ingrained in all primates.
October 19, 20169 yr I wonder, if one wanted to shag a steak-bake, what temperature you would have to let it cool down to in order to not given yourself 3rd degree burns

October 19, 20169 yr Where? Greenhalgh's or coffee chain places? I believe the former pay decent money, but the baghead was agency. I think coffee chains don't pay enough given their markup, either to employees or suppliers and nothing will sway me on this opinion. They're lower than a portly snake's belly.
October 19, 20169 yr Everyone knows someone who used to work at the Greenhalgh's factory who knew someone who used to spit/spaff/spew (dont know about the last one but it had decent alliteration qualities) into the pies and pasties. It has never put me off getting pasty barms from there though.

It has never put me off getting pasty barms from there though. I used to work there in the 90s as a uni holiday job Never saw anybody spit/spaff/spew in the food but it was common to see things dropped on the floor then put back into the mix or folk not washing their hands after cig breaks I never really ate there before then so it didn't really change my habits
October 19, 20169 yr I wonder, if one wanted to shag a steak-bake, what temperature you would have to let it cool down to in order to not given yourself 3rd degree burns Asking for a friend?
October 19, 20169 yr Asking for a friend? Of course. He also wants to know the optimum temperature for shoving a sausage roll up his bum
