That is a classic!

Ocean Colour Scene Manc Apollo tonight.

Ps, is this still the music thread?

Yep. Now this really is a classic worthy of the 'elite' tag.

Paul Weller @ Blackburn King Georges on 08-April.

Belting!

Ronnie's toneet

Watched Joe Stilgoe

Very talented lad (despite his father)

Then Simon Spillett last night

Really wow saxophonist

Doing Tubby Hayes music, which I will spend some time with

My cousin many moons ago was apparently an absolutely brilliant saxophonist. She then packed it in instead of making a career of it. Shame.

Senseless Things are playing a one-off gig next March in London.

Pre-sale tickets available today.

First gig since 1995.

Spotify Playlist this morning was the soundtrack to The Firm.  80s pop at its finest. I might even wear a tacchini tracksuit this Saturday.

We come in peace, we leave you in pieces.  :)

Ummmming and aaaahing about the Wonderstuff next Weds at the Ritz. Supported by Fuzzbox and Bentley Rhythm Ace.

Anyone off here bothering?

Few Bolton feature on this..

OCS and Weller mentioned above. Superb.

Craddock guested for Weller on his last tour down here. My mate down here from Cov bought Craddocks Series 2 Lambretta as a result of that tour. This one:-

Have you seen the state of Mark Keds now? That's an advertisement for not taking Heroin.

I certainly have. Didn't realise he'd written the Libertines only good song. Guess the royalties from that sorted out his addiction along with being mates with Dickhead Doherty!

Sad that Tge Libertines got famous when they were always a more jangly version of the senseless things.

Ah, The Word, L7, Grebo, The Thames Valley scene...some good music from those days. Some total shit as well. Swervedriver for example.

Oh and sorry but OCS would be the shittest band of all time if it wasn't for Queen.

The Word.... all the good bands got to play on there!! Was in the minority who always liked Terry Christian (football team aside).

Took the plunge and got tickets for Senseless Things - that's a road/rail trip to sort for next March. And also Buffalo Tom (they are only playing Brussels, Amsterdam and London next June).

Saw Swervedriver in some bar in Blackburn one Monday night. Bunch of us drove over there to see them. Around the time "Son of a Mustang Ford" was out. Never heard anything else by them.

Didn't ever like or rate OCS. Boring. Saw them headline a festival on Heaton Park one summer and pissed off after half a dozen of their songs.

Correct - it is.

Weller and Craddock collaborate on a regular basis.

NIC - we agree on Queen!
