I was looking around the office for one last week when a young female member of staff was on the floor having a fit and all I got was the office perv repeatedly asking if someone had loosened her clothing. Youri McAnespie
Did everyone stand around like M0ngs whilst she thrashed about banging her head and arms etc.? That's what usually happens...

Youri McAnespie
When I worked at a higher education establishment the fucking pervs and wankers had a radar/sixth sense for girls/women passing out or fitting etc. it was eerie, I had to stand guard on many occasion until th'ambulance arrived. I half expected a Silence of the Lambs style 'seagull' to fly past as they were loaded in the van, one of the wankers spying their last chance for 'contact'. Gonk
Cheers I pay the water rates on a property that they think is owned by a pensioner Didn't want to get my fingers burned Why don't you get a meter fitted anyway - My bill has more than halved and we've not cut back any. Washer is always on, no brick in the toilet cistern
Sweep
Why don't you get a meter fitted anyway - My bill has more than halved and we've not cut back any. Washer is always on, no brick in the toilet cistern Our bills changed dramatically when we moved from rates to a meter - Isn't the rule of thumb something along the lines of if you have more bedrooms than people, then it's cheaper to be on a meter. Anyway, we pay £22 per month, and the dishwasher and washing machine seem to be on all the time......we don't scrimp on the water usage

Andydee
Never bothered with a meter and let the old guy next door use my tap when he's power washing his drive and patios cos I'm kind like that. Edit: he is on a meter Having said that should perhaps think about it as both gas and leccy have dropped by about 30% since all the kids have left. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 18, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted March 18, 2017 Would save you money. You can go back onto old tariff if saving doesn't happen. Once you leave your house new occupants stuck with meter rates.

Think the general rule of thumb is if there are more bedrooms in the house than people then you are better off on a meter
