I will literally piss my sides when the great unwashed scouse cunts drive Sam out, the most delusional set of fuckwit fans ever.

  • aye   look at where he took us from and where he got us too and the situation we found ourselves in   you can bang on about the likes of Cid, McCann and Samuel, but look at the others he did great

Is it ok to now give Phil Gartside some credit for those signings? Without him Eddie D wouldn't of happened or any of the European ventures. Golden memories. Thanks P.G. RIP

I'm sure he'll milk them for plenty cash

Sadly for him though, Everton is just too big for him, as much as he'd like to think it's the other way around.

When he leaves, he'l be better of retiring I would have though, unless he fancies a job in China, India or the US, all of whom would be happy to find him a well paid job I would have thought

Too big a club. now your being silly.

Yeah, of course. They're just too successful for him. Apart from the fact they've won fck all since the start of the premiership and that will continue for a long, long time.

I'm not saying they're too successful for him

What I'm saying is that for the first time, as a club manager, he's somewhere were just surviving on the last day of the season isn't deemed a success - which has been the case at every other club he's ever managed in the top division. Granted Everton were near the bottom when he took over, but i'm not having it that they were ever really in danger of going down this season.

Everton as a club would expect to be top 10 most seasons, that's just where they are, and I'd expect a club of their size to see finishing 10th as an absolute minimum. Allardyce would see that as success

That's what Newcastle fans said, then they went down.

It is nonsense. In today's game what matters is what you've spent. Everton haven't until recently spent much. They are no different to the other premiership clubs. Ideas above their station. If their new owners genuinely are prepared to spend hundreds of millions to allow them to compete then fair play. But they'll still struggle to get a top manager in unless that is explicitly understood, even then there are many more attractive propositions.

I agree to a point, but you can still do well without spunking loads, just look at Burnley and Leicester

The more and more it becomes about cash, the worse it will become, even the top 6 (once Arsenal and Chelsea get their act together) will probably be the top 6 for the next 50 years - it's all a bit shit really.

Send the diggers in!

I agree, Villa bigger than Everton and look where they are, it’s more about cash to spend and good management than crowd size. Sam is as good as it gets for a middling club like Everton even if they get Dyche he is just a younger copy of Sam.

the anti scouse bias on here is laughable. anyone saying Everton are not one of the bigger clubs is a complete moonman.

BSA is not what he was and is deluded. been a great manager for what clubs like us needed but he was never going to be anything more. lets be honest this guy fucked up his dream job for reasons not about his performance.

Its that bitterness sneaking out again from the little clubber cavemen types.....

Who is going to do a better job than Sam? Everton are not a big draw for top managers and that’s not anti scouse bias it’s a fact.

So the only managers around are the top ones and sam??

The top managers become top managers by getting chances, and clubs taking a risk on them.

Also, sam is not going well at all, 4 wins in last 19. He is slightly doing better than what koeman got sacked for.

This is surely only going to end one way, with a pay off

"Everton have sent a survey to a group of supporters asking them to rate manager Sam Allardyce's performance on a scale of zero to 10."

Fatty saying it was a marketing slip even though the mid table club do it several times a year......he doesn’t like criticism does he ?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43828033

I think he is just having a laugh, and knows full well he will be gone soon with his £6 million pay off.

Watching the fans fume and cry about him, bet he is loving it.

Who’s going to do a better job? Koeman spent the money and had you bottom 6 that’s why he was sacked Sam done better than Koeman has took you to 9th, would take you top 7 most likely next year that’s as good as you can expect for a club like Everton.

If you haven't listened to Athletico Mince yet, you really should.

The British Manager's Club is the most accurate (and most hilarious) portrayal of our pool of British management talent you'll ever hear.

I'm into Peter Beardsley's jokes at the moment.

"I've got a new job at the bowling alley love"

"Ten pin?"

"No it's a permanent contract like"

Quite a few I reckon. They are bobbins. He’s truly lost the dressing room.

Everton are a draw for a good manager.....believing otherwise is just odd

Had koeman not been sacked, with the points he was picking up.....we would be around the same position we are in now.

That is a fact, bacause sam is delivering very similar points per game as koeman did.

Loads and loads of managers would do better, because they try to win games. Sam doesn't, its just his way, like all the other anti-football british managers.

We have been out-played twice by West Brom....and sam called these games “great results”.

He is just not very good anymore.

Allow me to be the voice of reason. In the 25 years of the Premier League - Everton's best finish was 4th and their lowest was 17th.

They finished in the following places

7,11,11,5,6,7,7,8,5,5,6,11,4,17,7,15,16,13,14,17,15,6,15,17,13 which totals 258.

Divide that by 25 and you get an average league placement if 10.32.

Ot alternately - a manager who is currently performing better than Everton should expect (if we're looking at league placements).

I reckon Allardyce is a decent Premier League Manager - I reckon Everton are a decent Premier League club. I think they are probably quite well matched.

Good stats pal.

I’ll have to retract my earlier statement of Everton being a mid table club as those excellent stats clearly show they’re actually proven to be bottom half....:D

New money, new ambitions.

We’ll see

Everton are/were a big club

Sam, as he will tell you, is a top manager

Will he be given gazillions to spend in summer to catch up with the other big clubs?

With a salary of £6 mill plus, and transfer budget of maybe £150 million plus, quite a few managers would be interested in that.

Dyche is doing well because Burnley fans accept what they are. 14 home goals this season. If Everton fans accepted a manager like that they’d be better for it. But they won’t because they are deluded.

They have a shit ground. In a shit area and are dwarfed by a bigger club. Always have been. Unless they start spending serious money regularly that’s what they will always be.
