April 19, 20188 yr Allow me to be the voice of reason. In the 25 years of the Premier League - Everton's best finish was 4th and their lowest was 17th. They finished in the following places 7,11,11,5,6,7,7,8,5,5,6,11,4,17,7,15,16,13,14,17,15,6,15,17,13 which totals 258. Divide that by 25 and you get an average league placement if 10.32. Ot alternately - a manager who is currently performing better than Everton should expect (if we're looking at league placements). I reckon Allardyce is a decent Premier League Manager - I reckon Everton are a decent Premier League club. I think they are probably quite well matched. Or an average position of 14.1 over the last 10 seasons.
