Allow me to be the voice of reason. In the 25 years of the Premier League - Everton's best finish was 4th and their lowest was 17th.

 

They finished in the following places

 

7,11,11,5,6,7,7,8,5,5,6,11,4,17,7,15,16,13,14,17,15,6,15,17,13 which totals 258.

 

Divide that by 25 and you get an average league placement if 10.32.

 

Ot alternately - a manager who is currently performing better than Everton should expect (if we're looking at league placements).

 

I reckon Allardyce is a decent Premier League Manager - I reckon Everton are a decent Premier League club. I think they are probably quite well matched.

 

Or an average position of 14.1 over the last 10 seasons.

It’s more than likely that after they sack sam they head in a downward direction, if you let fans have their way and have weak leadership upstairs, we as Bolton fans, know what normally happens and that’s the route Everton are going down if they listen to the dimwits on the terraces.
