From Corbyn? Or written for him by a split committee arguing with each other? Its a joke.

Corbyn is reduced to a puppet wheeled out to try and sell a confused message. He seriously has no grip on the party at all.

As the artcle said, Leave EU used it as another lie in the 2016 campaign when clearly we have an agreement not to be included in future bailouts should we remain. We have only voluntarily paid towards the Irish and portuguese bailouts so when have we been caught out by this clause?

I’m not disputing that Leave EU used it in 2016, far from it, so please don’t try and twist it that I am.

Re the clause, please scroll down to the bottom of this article re the “exceptional occurrences”

Once we leave, we hopefully won’t be getting caught in a trap like this again.

Apologies in advance as always for facts old chum :D

From the last Election 148 Labour constituency’s voted Leave, 84 voted Remain.

If you want to form a Government you need seats/constituency’s not actual voters....so that’s a concrete statistic to show how the party’s electorate feel

Labour's easiest path to Government is through 64 tight marginals, held by the Tories, which nearly all are Leave voting areas.

If we leave in October, TBP will cease to be and the Tories will increase their hold on these key seats.

Goodbye Corbyn, goodbye EU

We won't leave in October triple fact. We are heading for a GE before the year is out and a hung parliament thereafter

Edited by Salford Trotter

I think BREXIT will play a much smaller roll in the next GE than everybody thinks

Folk are bored to death of it

It will be how much money can Corbyn spend and on what (NHS etc) vs How much money can Boris spend and on what (tax giveaways etc)

Completely un costed nonsense in the grand scheme of things but I bet that it will be front and centre of the debate (like the last GE)

How do the numbers add up for a GE?

Not me but parliament doesn't want no deal. If we get an acceptable deal then parliament will support it

With a gvt majority of 3 or 4 (by election pending) it will be close but certainly a possibility

Some of these Tory MPs not wanting no deal won't actually back a vote of no confidence. The reporters have made that comment quite a bit.

Depends if they really are prepared to toss away their careers I suppose.

I agree, there will be a lot of soul searching going on but it may not need 30. Reports suggest there are 18 Labour MPs that voted against the labour whip in the last vote so it will be close. An interesting development today in parliament with the Northern Ireland bill which could be a way of avoiding a prorouge
