Tell you what

If a lorry driver runs your family over, would you be ok with him getting away with it by claiming that another lorry driver ran over a different family once?

You’re getting there slowly.

Inch by inch.

Who’s in charge right now?

The whole of the Tory party ain’t corrupt, those who are should face the music, the next election will give everyone the chance to vote on who’s best for the country, don’t be surprised if Tories win again, although by a smaller majority, thankfully the electorate can see past a few corrupt politicians, unlike those on here who wear red tinted spectacles.

Seems to be very tribal and linear this politics malarkey

Basically

Hes happy for everyone to stand by and watch the corrupt cunts have a free ride for 5 years. Whilst blaming the opposition.

The get out clause? An election.

No hint of “hmmm, maybe this is wrong right now. Maybe they should stop being cunts right now. That would be a super thing to do.”

Nope. Let them crack on taking the piss for another few years. Because Labour and the SNP and Lib Dems.

The one you didn't vote for. The one that got the most votes.

Thank you

Now. Do you think they should be accountable for things they do wrong? Especially if it breaks any laws (criminal or parliamentary)?

Is "Someone else does it" a defence?

Everyone that has broken these laws should be accountable. Tory or not. Someone said it's not illegal though or proven yet?

Said before... I'm on no side.

Just wanted a bit of info on it all.

Thanks

No, Who's on first base.

Aye, too much so. That's one of the biggeest problems at the moment. People think its like supporting a football team and defend everything, its why these culture wars have been so damaging and been used by certain politicians to sure up support.

I doubt there are many on here who are actually that tribal, or even members of a political party. But if you are not for, then the reasoning nowadays seems to be you must be against.

Which is why this current government can do pretty much what they want and get a pass from a lot of people, many of whom they have actually made things worse for.

Case in point; because I worked for a russian theatre company for 4 weeks, I am now not able to ctitise the government for taking nearly £2 million in party donations. When you are getting points like that made, you know we've jumped the shark.

Are we not much quicker and stronger responding to these things now we have removed ourselves from the bureaucratic EU? Oh, I’ll put that down as more brexit bullshit then!

In keeping with our part in the new global order. On the peripheries and looking in.

I’m sure this is why Putin intervened with brexit and the Scottish referendum. Divide and conquer.

It's naive to think they didn't try to influence this and much other stuff.

I remember at the time of the referendum making the point that if we split from the EU - the main winners would be Vladimir Putin and ISIS.

I still think that one of the main drivers to leave the EU was the concern about Syrian refugees blowing themselves up across Europe.

Back in the heady days of not wanting to look after people fleeing war zones.

Remind me again what the result of indyref was? He wasn’t very successful in your implied interference was he 🤡
