Is this vote going to party members again or Tory mps? Either way I can’t see past Johnson winning it.

If he gets back in, and it's looking like he could....

Who does he put in his cabinet? - as I'm sure he won't be entertaining the "back stabbers"  -  the good news is that it would almost certainly see the return Priti Patel 😀

Odds shortening on BJ, not much now between him and RS.

Not often I agree with this silly bint...

Oh and there is the small matter of this...

But he was done by the left leaning MSM 😉

There are apparently 357 Conservative MPs. Even if the Today programme is overestimating, imagine (by way of example):

Boris - 120

Rishi - 90

Mourdant - 90

Wallace - 30

Other - 27

No need for a membership vote. Boris wins by default.

no way sunak and mordaunt split their vote imo

one of em drops out

no way, imo, johnson wins the mp vote

and if the dickhead members inflict him on the party, it all starts again

Best result for Labour is a Johnson win.

The public simply won’t have it, apart from the Boris nonces with Stockholm Syndrome.

There’s a lot of people on social media looking at it the other way. Saying Boris is the only way to stop Labour getting in.

putting aside whether thats true - to be fair, it may well be

why the fuck would anybody want the tories to win

theyve been a shambles and are an absolute disgrace, much of it down to actions and antics the lazy twat

in effect, we havent had a govt for pushing 9 months - minimum

Whatever

It says it all that none of their supporters seems remotely arsed that they’re all fighting like rats, getting absolutely zero work done, and making us look like clowns around the world.

So long as their darling Boris upsets the guardian. That’s all that really matters.

We’re not far off having ultras with tifo  banners following him around 😁

Where? On the FLA and EDL facebook groups?

Lots of know alls on both sides.

Frankly, no one knows.

If, whoever comes in actually does tackle the migration issues properly, then they have a decent chance at the next election.

Conversely, if they continue to pontificate and obstruct, then they're toast.

Whether Johnson was previously obstructive in that regard, I don't know, but whoever gets the gig has a chance to put that right. Personally, I doubt they will.

Absolutely. This would be the ultimate in Sod the country and get our man back. They are totally incapable of seeing the damage this would do. The only answer is to go and form the Boris party as they cannot see beyond that.

Is the correct answer. Someone makes a point on WW and the lap dogs are out. Someone says the opposite on social media and they’re EDL 😂

The only work they've done in the last few months is release the most damaging budget in modern memory.

Personally, I can see why that isn't really acceptable for the government of the 5/6/7th biggest economy on earth.

However, most voters just want to point score on social media/down the pub which is fine if you have the iq of a pot noodle, but it doesn't really help on a national level.

Unthinking, simple tribalism.

And I've almost always voted Tory.

Have people really forgotten the final nail in the dollop of shite's coffin.

He appointed a sex pest.

And lied about it.

Even fucking Bolty can see it.

These people are off their tits.

Not really that difficult to answer. Loved by millions for his English eccentricity and his battling qualities when it matters (whether he truly believes in something or sees it has a conduit for political success).

It won't be him though. A shame they got rid in the first place.

We don't all swallow the guff fed to us by the UK left leaning mainstream media.

Thanks for answering on behalf of Swanny and on the earlier post giving reasons not to vote for him.
Boris is simply damaged goods that were dangerous before they got damaged.
The biggest issue we face at the moment is the state of the economy and if people think the solution to that is a good dose of eccentricity they are deluded.
He left behind a party in chaos , whilst the country is struggling he has fucked off on holiday.

I was impressed by Penny M at PMQs so she would be my choice. The next few years are going to be tough economically Boris only reason to come back is to fire up his own ego. If the Tories re select him it would just leave them more disjointed . All those who submitted no confidence letters, anyone who resigned for cabinet .

Sunak resigned over differences of how to run the economy, is Boris the right man for required tax increases and cuts in public spending ?
As you say he will be determined when it comes to political success , his own rather than the country or the party.
The only reason I can give would be number 10 won't need redecorating.

Be some major crying on here if boris gets back in

No TBF there is a significant number of people who would want him back.
The cult of personality is a massive factor in politics. You can already see the 'he got Brexit done' and 'look at the vaccine rollout' posts across social media.
The fact Brexit is not done and the multiple other fuck ups are being ignored. To dismiss this as the voice of the far right is missing the point.
Personally I think he is bumbling clusterfuck of a cunt who is totally driven by his ego.

There won't though will there. Would you cry if Labour won the next General Election?

The same Boris that was sacked by the same party less than 3 months ago?

That one?

It's cult behaviour.

Whilst the country heads towards a cliff.

Support him if you like, but it's not for the greater good. Admit it. It's because it' might upset people you don't like.

Bolty, at least, is honest about that. He admits he has no interest or ability to really understand it all, but his competitive streak likes the feel of victory.
