It's not only lower, it's not even growth.

I admire your 'sticktoitiveness' as my old boss at the Milwaukee based corporation used to say.

Pointless fighting the fight with some of this lot though. They need to keep venting unlike your good self who has accepted the democratically arrived at will of the people and is now prepared to make the most of it. Jeremy Hunt now saying similar things to you in spite of the fact that he was a leading light in the Remain campaign.

There are still people in the old USSR who yearn for the return of the KGB, breezeblock tenements and bread queues. You can't change  peoples instinct to be allergic to change. I am one. Yearning for the far better country and values we had in the 50's and 60's.

Just let them vent by blaming every possible negative which comes up on Brexit. You know full well this will continue as long as they frequent these parts.

When men were men and trifles were trifles.

So basically make homosexuality illegal until 1967, no race relations bill until 1968, the abortion act which gave women more control over themselves and their bodies came in in 1967.....I'm getting a picture as to why Bolty was happy until the end of the 60s the massive bellcheese.

Fuckinell 🤣🤣😁

There are still people who yearn for the return of corporal punishment, imperial measurements, and banning any music recorded after 1980.

You want the UK to go back to how it was when you were a small child? Will you move back if we let pensioners don their old caps and ties and go back to Primary school?

There’s no doubt Brexit has had an effect on our economy. The big question though is by how much? Where do people think we would be on that/those growth charts if we were still in the EU?

We’re in a shit position now.
The conservatives are partly to blame

Brexit is partly to blame

Putin attacking Ukraine is partly to blame

The pandemic is partly to blame

global financial conditions are partly to blame .

All of those ,apart from two, affect the rest of the countries showing better performance than us

I’m not really political aligned, middle of the road, but, I look at the two things unique to us from the list of events and draw my conclusions from that.

Summary, we’d be better off without Brexit and the conservatives, or in fairness, we would be better off with both being managed better than they have been too.

Can’t really argue with any of that. How much each contributes to our economic state is open to question though. Anyone voted in to power in 2019 would have had the same problems. The next election will decide who to blame the most though.
