BobyBrno Posted March 19, 2024 Posted March 19, 2024 Another BBC apology. (Definitely recent) They’ll have to issue another soon for calling them a ‘political party’ 😊 BBC News online 16 March 2024 In an article about the Liberal Democrats’ spring conference we wrongly described the political party Reform UK as far-right when referring to polling. This sentence was subsequently removed from the article as it fell short of our usual editorial standards. While the original wording was based on news agency copy, we take full responsibility and apologise for the error. 18/03/2024 Quote

Our next Chancellor is saying all the right things. #bewarethetrojanhorse What a load of one-sided guff, not hardly surpising some have jumped up to bite the Tele's headline in their hope to try and split any Labour vote as that's what they have left. So, in a new update on The Usual's fact check - what she is actually going to outline is that the UK is facing the same sort of economic turbulance was we did at the end of the 70s (so long, and thanks for all the fish Sunak), and whilst there will need to be supply side economics to push the country out of the problem it is in, it can't also follow the Thatcher path as economic policies will also have to be inclusive and broad-based and not enter into some sort of managed decline as she did. Its basically the pitch that business can trust Labour, something that has been a problem since the end of New Labour, and it seems to be working as businesses pivot to support the next government. Politics, see? who'd have thought there's more to these things than the headlines? Quote

Bolton west is a very marginal seat, and had Chris Green not been such a slimy cunt he may have had a sliver of a chance around here. But he’s one of the current mob, so we need rid. Quote
