They are just so fucking strange in everything they do.

It’s almost as though they went to a school where they never encountered normal people.

Hang on a minute………

A lot of people claim they want Mordaunt to lead the Conservative party, fucking hell, she'd be just as bad as Truss. No way does she have what it takes to lead a major political party.

That stand up and fight speech was utterly bonkers and cringe worthy.

@Not in Crawley

To be fair they seem to stay at the DCMS for such a brief spell now. It'd be nice to get someone who wants to job rather than a stepping stone to something else.

The problem the Conservatives have, amongst others, is that there are very few of their MPs who are capable of stepping into leadership as well as being ideologically a bit at sea - there is no real vision or strategy.

A lot of people wanted Bozo back after Truss. You can’t help some folk as they just enjoy being lied to.

Only absolute swivel eyed lunatics did, because they think he's a character (he's not) and a good old fashioned English eccentric (he's not) and Churchillian (he's not)

Don't forget the staple of Conservative/Republican politics at the moment 'do it just to trigger the left'.

I hope the amendment Liam Fox's tabling passes 🤞

What's that?

Abortion limit change

Id prefer it fails

I think

It's a bill to bring the abortion limit of 40 weeks for foetuses diagnosed with Down's Syndrome into line with the standard 24-week term limit

Whatever the term limit is, it should be the same across the board

My middle daughter is almost 14, she is the top of her grammar school and on track for 9s across the board in every subject- she's bright but also works hard.

When my ex wife was pregnant with her because of the measurements they said we had a 50/50 chance that she might be downs.

Was a tough two weeks until we found out she wasn't. Wouldn't have been in line with his new amendment.

Having had to been through abortions with my partner and having been through this I hope it fails as well.

He's been far too long away from being a doctor.

Another pile of cruel crap.

I'm not massively fussed either way if people in the Labour party like Thatcher or not - it's not really relevant, Thatcher is almost out of living memory these days, so who really cares what she did or didn't do.

Anyway, if the Labour Party are going to become more Central/Conservative, then that's a good thing surely 😉

Yeah most of the further left folk I know are either not voting Labour or are doing so through gritted teeth just to get rid of the current Tory government. They see the shift to the centre as becoming Tories in red rosettes.

Whilst I don't see eye to eye with Starmer's labour party on many things they're still the sensible option going forwards.
