December 14, 20178 yr What's a good score on this pitch For us, with their bowlers; 350 For them, with ours, 500+
December 14, 20178 yr As I said, 400+ would give us a better than even chance I reckon. The WACA is known as the Cracker down here for it's tendency to develop some pretty big cracks by the third day of a Test match. Can't remember the Sri Lankans name but they say down here that he fell down into one of these cracks once. Get past 400 with a deteriorating pitch for both of their innings and we would have a good chance of getting this back to 2-1.
December 14, 20178 yr Author great stuff this watching on my phone while sat at my desk, thrilling stuff
December 14, 20178 yr Lovely day mate. Would have been nice sipping a cold one at the decrepid WACA. Future Ashes tests in Perth will be at the new stadium which is pretty flash. I was hoping for 400+ on that wicket. Not looking too hopeful unless Bairstow and Malan can come up with big knocks. Wow, bolty- what are the numbers for Saturday's draw.Just need ali et al to join in now. Edited December 14, 20178 yr by Tonge moor green jacket
December 14, 20178 yr Yip, good day. But it will be piss poor first session tomorrow. Seen it all before.
December 14, 20178 yr Yip, good day. But it will be piss poor first session tomorrow. Seen it all before. I expect the same. Folk get carried away because we've had one good day
December 14, 20178 yr Owt less than 450 will see a first knock deficit which will mean defeat It's possible we get there but a lot on these 2 Makes a mockery of Barstow being at 7
December 15, 20178 yr Please take note of my earlier comments re the weather. Looking like a wet weekend coming up which is quite amazing for this time of year in Perth. We are usually fucking melting. I suppose a draw keeps the series alive and the convicts always keep Melbourne and Sydney til last because they believe England's chances are always better there.
December 15, 20178 yr Here we go. Come on England. Anyone else watching Been watching since 2.30. On my second coffee already. I may flag a little at work this afternoon. Worth it so far. Edited December 15, 20178 yr by Boby Brno
December 15, 20178 yr At 403 v 150-2, I'd say Australia have had the better day and you can see them scoring 500+
December 15, 20178 yr Author At 403 v 150-2, I'd say Australia have had the better day and you can see them scoring 500+ agreed. couple of late wickets for a swing
December 15, 20178 yr Just confirmed on tms that major thunder storms and rain due over the weekend. Commentators don't believe it, but its coming apparently, could be a draw. Kawaja just given. Under review.... Come on..... Out. Koff. Yes. Edited December 15, 20178 yr by Tonge moor green jacket
December 15, 20178 yr I've got some concerns over the effectiveness of broad. Can't bat anymore and isn't contributing with wickets. Should he be an immediate pick, especially on tour?

December 15, 20178 yr Who would you bring in though? At least we know Broad is more than capable of producing on his day
