October 15, 20178 yr There's a couple of cob webs appeared in the back room. Got some flies in them. I should remove them, but that's taking away food from a wild animal.
October 15, 20178 yr I love spiders. They eat flies which I fucking hate so that makes them top drawer Same here Watching one sort out someone that has got caught in their Web is a thing of natural beauty The one about us swallowing them in our sleep is a myth as well, as we're so massive to them they darent come near us
October 17, 20178 yr Sat chilling last night. The creature from the swamp appeared. Leg span size of a saucer . Scurried to middle of the floor. Convinced it was looking at us. Even the dynamic duo Ozzie and Freddie (cats ) gave it a wide berth. Normal they mercilessly tease them before knawing on em. Tried to chuck the bugger out but it ran back in . Now lurking somewhere in the hallway.

Now lurking somewhere in the hallway. Those huntsman jobbies you get in Thailand are territorial as fook. When staying pretty much in the jungle one used to come out every night, same time, same spot and I'd have sworn it was eyeballing as if to say, 'Come on then if you think you're hard enough!'. I wasn't, and left it well alone. They don't scare me, generally and have held big tarantulas (and ate them) but those ones creep me out.
October 18, 20178 yr We have the Huntsman spider here. Belters they are. Non venomous and eat flies and mosquitoes in droves. Bit scary (being the size of your hand when fully grown) when you first see them but once you learn they are harmless they're fine. Still give you a nasty nip as I once found put when letting one run up my arm in Wollongong. Stings a bit.
October 18, 20178 yr Hate um they shit me up. Heard about mixing peppermint oil and water in a spray bottle and spraying the corners of your room, windowsills, doorways etc. Worked so far, seen 1 in about 3 weeks I can confirm whoever made this tip is a fucking funnyman. I went around the house on Sunday spraying virtually everything including putting a minty hex around my bed for good measure to the point where the entire house smells like a Trebor factory. They've obviously just been on holiday for a couple of weeks, because if anything there's actually more of them now.

Spiders hate tartan.
October 18, 20178 yr I've heard coating your woodwork in tartan paint works a treat too mate. Spiders hate tartan. Only if applied with a left handed paint brush having said that, I reckon Marc505 is left handed anyway, he definitely looks the type
October 18, 20178 yr I've heard coating your woodwork in tartan paint works a treat too mate. Spiders hate tartan. Nah, utter bollocks whoever told you that. Plan B for me is using a bucket of compressed air which I am assured will work a treat, and I will be applying it right handed Sweep, I'm not an alien.
October 18, 20178 yr A spider was crawling around on my face last night when I was trying to get to sleep. Remained calm, walked to the bathroom with the thing sitting on my eyebrow, then knocked him into the sink and flushed him away. Didn't get to sleep for two hours after, mind.

Poor fucker would have been trying to swim.

Cool!
