I fucking knew you would be the first to bite. :D

Only cos it's bedtime in upside down world

Cassie is reet again (what the fuck has changed up there?).

Rot in hell Robbo. Note his expensive leather coat in that photo.

A hypocritical member of the proletariat? Astonishing  :rolleyes2:

As an apprentice back in the 80s we often went to see the our trade union rep we christened him red robbo one day we complained about the glass roof because it was like working In a green house the union rep got us the afternoon off as it was too hot to work, next day the glass panes were painted to block out the sunlight so back to work it was.

I'm probably being ignorant here.....but who is he?

He's not another one of these that these ex-miners keep bleating on about is he?

A great, great man.

Regarding the so-called 'ostentatious' leather jacket - leaders have to look the bollocks so that the materialistic lumpenproles pay fucking attention to them.

Robbo, Degsy, Che, Carlos, Wolfie, Jezza, Fidel - the list is endless...Panache and flair is a necessary evil.

A sad loss - R.I.P. :(

He was the union rep at British Leyland involved in over 500 disputes.

(And the Communist candidate for Birmingham Northfield.)

A shop steward who was happy to sacrifice the jobs of the people he was supposed to represent in order to pursue his own lefty political aims. ( & keep himself in the spotlight )

Rot in hell because he a different view point to you on unions?

What a lovely chap you are.

Bryan Robson?

He was good in Early Doors.

Red bob or chicken bolty? :)

Never heard of him, so I'll defer to others. These extreme union types have damaged the genuine work a good union does as much as the companies they fuck over.

Wouldn't use bolty's expression myself, but can understand his ire.

Inadvertently helped Mrs T into Downing St.

No. He was a communist and campaigned as such. He didn't give a flying fuck about his members other than the membership being a vehicle to progress his sinister political aims (and of course the influx of compulsory union fees).

Thank you for the compliment though. No doubt you are lovely too.

I am meeting a good mate of yours in Bolton in a few months time. Do you want to come along too?

Certainly ????

Take him for a stroll, hand in hand, down the fast food squelched pavements, next to the turd laden sea ????

Sounds like a straightener being offered, not had one of them on here for a while.

Spot on Malc!!!!

I completely agree with bolty on this one. Him and his ilk were prettty instrumental in the destruction of the British manufacturing industry

Certainly

I'll be in touch nearer the time.

Not at all. A and I correspond privately on the odd occasion. Couple of pints in Bolton - nothing more, nothing less.

On reflection, my comment was probably a bit harsh. He may have been a great father, husband, brother etc. for all I know and, at the end of the day, he and his co-conspirators never achieved what they sought - in fact they generally drove people to vote right of centre.

Please replace 'rot in hell' with 'meh'.
