Regards to reading the link I provided.......he was Deputy Director Genreal of the Muslim Council at the time.

No! It was not said by the Muslim Council. It was a letter signed by "'prominent Muslims" - one of whom was (on 2009) on the council.  The council themselves refused to comment.

Nowhere, does he, or anyone else for that matter advocate attacking British servicemen and women.
