I didn’t think dier had much of an impact last night and then up he steps with rashford for the pens. Fair fucks to them.

I had no confidence in Dier taking that penalty - but he stepped up to the plate.

Keeper should have saved it, but it's all history now.

Added to that, our build up play is quite patient. there were 1 or 2 occassions in the 2nd period of ET last night it opened up for him to be played in

At the time I didn't have a problem with it; I sometimes think Rashford isn't yet up to the "physicals" where as vary is a bit more dogged.

That said we sat a bit deeper and didn't use him.

 

So would someone enlighten me as to this Vardy story.
