Personally the tube to Ealing

brentford overground is the nearest station, from memory, but its also going to be affected by the strikes

I don't think there's much round South Ealing & it's a long ,boring trek to Brentford ........Northfields tube to the ground is the same distance but there are one or two pubs on the way. The pubs round the ground are fine & there are supposed to be quite a few more nearby.

If the hourly train fits, I'll get that to Kew and go to the Express Tavern

We got off at Northfield last year

Nothing notable to make me want to return

Brentford, like Forest, has a reputation as a good day. When it comes round to it, it’s bog average at best

I'd agree with that about Forest for a matchday, landing with only 2-3 hours to spare and everywhere is a trek. Two superb pubs on way to the ground, Embankment and Brewhouse but both home fans only and a great new ales place in a shed attached to the station but it's tiny.

A full day or night at it though and it's a different story.

New ground for me. Looking at hiring somebody's driveway around Brentford , talk about money for old rope!

Yeah, I was thinking match day experience. Nottingham as a night out is pretty decent

Brentford is a great day out if you dont consider the football like most away games

Not been to Forest for a few years

Any away is good with the right company

Free parking next to Elephant and Castle at my castle if you drive to centre of London but your better off driving straight there and getting on a match day carpark
