If he was ever genuine didn't Howard say in his last post that his people were walking away. Apologies for not trawling through his previous posts . Things do now appear to be critical. If the bank accounts are frozen surely it is just a matter of time before the whole thing collapses.

He did post the occasional get out phrase.

Which brings us back to the point of the shares.

Assuming H's lot didn't exist/or backed out then moonshift have a defaulted loan to deal with.

At what point do they do something about it.

Surely they want their money back.

It is indeed a very sad time mounts

Your right regarding the shares, if indeed it's structured that way. Personally I've always felt that the way the debt is set up is one of the reasons that the takeover is stalling, regardless of the amount. I'm no financial expert but if debts are owed to various organizations and the moved to others I would imagine it gets complicated when selling a business

The message was written giving the impression it was all done. However, this was due to Bassini being set to complete, which takes it out of their hands.

H previously said they were still in play after the adjournment and has never said they were walking away. Which is the reason I hope he returns to clarify what is going on from their side. He still logs in, which suggests he still has a role to play.

If you give me 50 quid I'll let you know the lottery numbers for tonight. Honest.

If there was never a serious buyer how did the courts get hoodwinked ?

You would think some evidence was required to get an adjournment.

Having a qc like Hilary Stonefrost telling the court that she is in direct communication with a buyer would go a long way. She isn't going to flat out lie and risk her own reputation. Doesn't mean the buyer couldn't be misrepresenting themselves to her of course.

I was just answering a question. That's the position Howard left it in.

I'm obviously skeptical about it all too, but given how bad things are you can only hope that we get a change of fortune.

Whilst he's not our favourite guy, I wouldn't be surprised to find that he's not actually broken any laws - maybe acted unethically, and without morals....but always within the law, I'm not sure you can get done for that

Why so quick to give him benefit of doubt? Was he acting within the law when he was banned for 8 years for diverting funds. Oh i forgot he saved us and he and his family have suffered financially.

I'm with you in praying for something positive,

Remind me to never request Howard’s PR services if needed

what a bag of shit

Were you at the Aldershot home game at Burnden Park, that still has to be the worst home game of all time (when we got relegated to the old 4th division via the original play-off structure were one of the 4 teams was from the division above).   Last night came very close to beating that (not for the football, just the general atmosphere of doom)

Yes I was there, didn’t go to aldershot away though, last night feels pretty much the same as back then. I live in hope that same can happen again as within 10 years from that game we were back in the premier league, that’s the beauty of sport. Keeping the faith. Fuck all else I can do. OINO. 😂

Theres no point in everyone having a go at Howard

It might just be that he hasn't as yet any news or hopefully he is waiting to give us all good news

Here's hoping

Aldershot was a low point but worse for me, in no particular order,

Bristol City  (h) mid 80s. Lost 0-4 Club was in a rapidly downward trajectory that there appeared to be no getting out of.

Darlington (h) 85. Lost 0-3. Lowest ever league crowd. Allardyce laughing at some fans shouting at the side to buck up.

Scarborough  (a) 87. Lost 0-4.  Fans showing more fight than the players and just when you thought we couldn't sink any lower.

Derby (h) 0-2 at the end of Dougies reign. Depressing.

Bristol City (a) 0-6 Similar to now. Knew we were going down and financially we appeared fecked.

I think last night was easily up there with that lot

She's not a qc, but she does have a special line in football club financial matters.

Last nights crowd must have come close - does anyone know the real number that's not inflated by ticket holders who don't turn up?

Howard came in flashing a couple twix bars, then left with them.

I would have said no more than 7000

Ah sorry, didn't think to check before I posted. Still tend to believe she isn't embarking on an outright deception of the court.

I'm not quick to give him the benefit of the doubt, I was reacting to the post that said something along the lines of "he might not return to the UK, in case he gets convicted"

Personal thoughts are he's a clever, sneaky individual, who might have learnt from last time.......not to say that he's not done anything of course, but I always get the feeling that he's quite happy to stay a hairs width on the right side of the law, and dip in and out of the grey areas as it suits

The original of that is 4608 x 3456 resolution, and I make out about 700 people in total in the West Stand.  Taken about 2 mins before kick off and not many more came out after that.

Whatever Ken may have done with regard to illegal activities, the situation at the moment snacks of desperation on his part.

We've heard plenty of times that interested parties were tyre kickers etc, but that's only ever been his comments.

Comments from other folk in football, together with his past suggest he's a bad un.
