birch-chorley
It will take us until Xmas to break even if we start on -24 Might as well double drop and start from scratch in League 2 Saying that, at least we have a ‘write off season’ to get stuff in order off the pitch. If we were starting in league 2 in August without a squad and the ownership in doubt we could be non league by next year

No mention of punishments in the below; 31 Penalty for Non-Fulfilment of Fixture Obligations 31.1 Any Club failing to fulfil its fixture obligations in respect of any match under the jurisdiction of The League on the appointed date or dates or causing The League to suspend any fixture shall be deemed guilty of misconduct, unless the circumstances giving rise to such failure are outside the control of the Club and could not have been reasonably foreseen or reasonably anticipated and remedied prior to the match. Every Club shall carry out regular and appropriate maintenance and checks to ensure that its safety certificate is not suspended or withdrawn. 31.2 The Club failing to fulfil its fixture or causing The League to suspend such fixture shall be liable to pay compensation for any expenses actually incurred by the opposing Club as a direct result of the failure or suspension. The amount of compensation will be at the discretion of the Board who will consider every such case on its merits. The Board may refer the amount of compensation to be paid to the Disciplinary Commission dealing with the misconduct by the Club failing to fulfil its fixture or causing The League to suspend the same. Closest precedent - for the financial aspect, at least - is probably 20 of Luton’s 30 points deduction which isn’t exactly encouraging, although Blackpool avoiding a deduction for their game being abandoned and never being replayed gives a bit of hope on that front. Nottm_Wanderer
I was nervous before the game that it might get ugly in the stands with some wanderers fans turning on the players 're the strike and some supporting them. As it turned out everyone just supported the wanderers and great to see everyone stayed behind to applaud the team at the final whistle and the team and staff applauding the fans . As for the footie. Forest didn't seem bothered . It was like a pre season friendly . Forest fans are usually really noisy but the only time they got excited was when they were thought derby might be losing their play off place. Darcy looked ok , he actually ran at defenders. So some promise for next season , if we still have a club. 578 away fans is pretty good. Probably 1000 down on what we normally take to forest . It was 577 as my son in law came with me as a neutral , but he got behind the wanderers . Edited May 7, 2019 by Nottm_Wanderer Typo
