Instant coffee is for peasents and luddites

Yet yourself a grinder and get it fresh from the bean

Best move you can make where coffee is concerned

Then get a milk frother

As someone who doesn't drink much coffee, is it worth it?

Maybe I'd drink more if it was that good.

How much are beans in comparison to instant- never really looked?

Maybe start at a proper coffee barista before buying all the kit yourself.

Really good for you?

No downsides?

Not really, the Food for Life book is really good at explaining it. More fibre than a banana, good for cardio, decent for diabetes.

The idea it's bad was something propagated by the health drinks industry - get folk drinking crap like smoothies and sugery orange juice to start the day.

Re-Tate I'd never heard of him until he first got "cancelled" checked a few of his interviews/podcasts and he seemed like a ridiculously over the top comedy act -do people actually take this shit seriously or is it some 3d chess troll stuff. I've no idea what's real anymore 🤣

So it does cause

Restlessness and shakiness

Insomnia

Headaches

Dizziness

Fast heart rate

Dehydration

Anxiety

Dependency, so you need to take more of it to get the same results

That may well be extreme, but apparently over 400ml a day is not good for you. That just a bit more than a coke can or whatever size it comes in at Costa

Bet loads of people hit that before midday

That depends on how much caffeine you are having, actually raising your heart rate is good for you. Coffee is a very good drink for health benefits. A lot of that is as I say propagated by the health drinks industry and isn't much backed up by nutritional evidence.

I normally have three cups a day, 4-5 green teas and fizzy water if I just want a cold drink.

Conversely don't you think the pro benefits may be in some part propped up by vested interests?

I don't drink coffee as I just don't like it

Bet you spend all day pissing

I do quite like a coffee, but just don't drink much. I also have decaff at home, as I don't want the caffeine effects on sleep.

Like anything, there may well be health benefits, but overdo it, and the negatives start to have an impact.

If I want a raised heart rate, I'll do some exercise etc.

You're a big lad, you drink what you want, I'm just saying that coffee isn't bad for you, unlike say a glass of orange juice in the morning, or one of those 'health' smoothies which are all packed with sugar. Them's the facts

And no, not to my knowledge to I piss anymore than anyone else.
