We ate in a little square that had 4 or 5 restaurants all together doing different cuisines but it appeared that you could order from any of them. The square was opposite the town hall. There is also a chain called Sento which have branches dotted all over. The food was decent and value for money but this was snack food rather than evening meals. The marina was OK for a drink, again lots of bars and restaurants in this area.

August 29, 20196 yr Author Alicante was superb. Great marina, beach and restaurants. A typical old town area. Castle is worth a trip too. Saw the bikers finish. Great place, hardly any brits, which was nice.

Ventured over to Playa San Juan for a day and headed into Alicante one evening. I then went to Benidorm to visit a mate and wanted to leave after less than 15 minutes! Luckily, he only works in Benidorm and lives in Albir. Albir is also alright for a visit
