The doctors are saying more younger people taking up space. They might not die, but still require treatment.

All of which slows down other treatments.

A few of these coming out and telling their peers to stick to the rules won't go amiss.

Is that right that even after your jab, you're not "protected" for a further 21 days..... If so, then we'll be locked down for a while longer yet. Sadly it'll not just be a case of, having the jab and then cracking on

Yep. Though it was said two weeks earlier on, but the point still stands.

For me, reckon I'll wait until I've had my second anyway.

Footballers and staff should be vaccinated as priority

Maybe if they volunteer to do vaccinations if football is cancelled

They’re gonna stop football sooner or later

Or you’ve been sacked

Why wait until next week?

Get vaxxin!

Would you trust a footballer to inject you?

listening to the scientist on here, top right genuinely made me feel emotional that not only is there an end in sight but that our little country is playing a major part in doing something that will benefit the world.

The keepers should have steady hands at least, maybe keep Crellin away from it though

I’d let Hitler inject me with his left hand if it meant I can book a fucking holiday

Listening to this briefing it sounds very sketchy especially time frames

Are those stats not from two or three weeks ago though? - the bloke I heard yesterday said the situation had only changed drastically in the last fortnight

I wish it was footballers contract, I’ve tied myself into it to pay them back for them paying for my studying.

BB certainly isn’t free, it’s like negotiating for peace in the Middle East to get a glimpse of those cans

Strange thing is,  lots of jobs are on the list of "essential" and as such ought to have first dibs at the vaccine.

Undertakers and associated staff aren't being offered the vaccine but it'll get messy if they all decide they're isolating.

He's also, so I've heard, just won the annual raffle for the special edition NYE F5000. It's made of cooling marble, and will have his name engraved on the underside. As a little treat, this year's version has a little hand sanitiser attachment (next to the pube tugger). He's a very lucky boy.

How old are they?

Just listening to the doctor this morning- the people currently in icu were on average younger than before. That’s his hospital.

If we chuck in the fact from your figures etc that percentage of younger people infected actually going into hospital is low, then that shows that a much larger number of younger people are being infected, and predominantly by this new strain.

As we have seen before, once this happens, older groups follow slightly later.

Essex has declared a major incident this morning- we don’t need that happening all over.

Finally it’s marble, wipeable. The Velour edition is starting to look like a flapjack
