Ive never got definitive details of any of it as wouldn’t know where to start and never had the inclination to do so. always found it a bit of a struggle

Was my dads grand parents on his mums side and to my knowledge none of his siblings ever looked into it in much depth  either

it’s quite a sombre and grizzly thing.

I can imagine mate, awful events.

If you ever feel inclined, just give me a shout and I'd look into if you like ? Got a lot of very useful contacts in that field.

One boxset I watch is Auschwitz  - Final Solution. Was on the BBC and very detailed.

Kids are falling back and kids from the poorest backgrounds are falling back the most.

They're also spreading it like fuck though.

I agree that primary school kids need to go back as their staying at home prevents parents from working.  Secondary school though should be able to look after themselves and do remote learning.  Of course there will be exceptions but the bigger picture needs to be looked at.

Agreed.  I've seen pretty much every documentary that's out there (well, what i can find anyway) and that was by far the best - it was recommended by a tour guide when I visited Auschwitz.

You can plan to vaccinate x number of people. That plan can only be met if folk turn up as well of course

If they produce a plan that says 1m per day and this is dependant on getting 10m vaccines a week and 95% of people turning up. They then report on this.

If they do 950k per day because only 90% turn up or only got 9m vaccines then report that. Shame fuckers for not turning up by saying 90% attendance will extend lock down by 2 weeks.

It is what I daresay you have to do for any business plan. Pick KPIs and report performance against them so if things slip you know where to focus attention.

We crack on

survival of the fittest

Be no full lockdown

Aye

I think we should receive a medal at the end of all this

Nurses. Teachers, doctors, ooooh, what heroes

Not us men, taken for fucking granted

No vaccines for the real top lads in all this

One kid at home remote learning/looking after themselves great throw a sibling in the mix it doesn’t work

if they are of secondary school age it shouldn't be a problem.  Little fuckers need to show some responsibility.

Very good indeed isn't it ?

Did you go on the tours from Krakow or elsewhere ? I went from Krakwow, but felt the time spent in Birkenau wasn't long enough to be honest.

Was chilling to found out the cafe we ate in at Auschwitz used to be the SS Officer's mess.

Similar once in Bruges, the hotel was used as a brothel by the SS in World War ll

I get all that. My point was more at how we get folk to turn up I’m not sure what size the anti vax population actually is? Anyone hazard a guess?

Just did the Auschwitz/Birkenau tour.  We had a minibus driver - crazy fucker who also had a knife and a length of rope which he delighted in showing us, ha - who sorted the guide out for us.  TBF it was plenty long enough and she gave us as long as we wanted at all the different parts.

By far the most upsetting and moving thing I've ever done but so glad think everybody should go if they can do.

Hence me saying there will be exceptions.

Anyway, rather than teachers just posting work online, why can't they do a virtual classroom this time round?

And for those with real issues, open up the school just for them - like when schools were opened for children of key workers.

We should be looking at keeping as many children at home as possible until the vaccinations are up and running at a decent pace.

As daughter did in the desert

2 hours in the morning, 2 in the aft

Parents were paying big money so they wouldn't accept anything less

Radcliffe Reds kids would both be at home, whatever

So either he or Mrs radcliffe can't go to work

Shut schools, you may need to pay a parent to stay at home if grandparents are still not in the game

Yes, same with me, very upsetting indeed but glad I did it. Did quite a bit in Germany too, the Eagle's Nest is something else, the village of Berchestgaden is stunning. Some of the things in Berlin are very sad and touching.
