For the second time in lockdown i had no booze last night

Doing some diet thing with the mrs, not meant to drink for a month

Fuck that, I'll be drinking Saturday if not Friday as well, other than that, it's a welcome break to be honest

I've been doing much better over the last week but was delivery day from one of them subscription things yesterday.

Wasn't a beer in the box I would have ever chosen and 2 were under 3%.

Had a couple and poured half of one away because it smelled and tasted like I imagine ditch water tastes, one of the kids and the missus said it was the most tropically smelling ale they'd ever seen me drink. Not worrying just yet though (it was a FIERCE x NZBC Top Ranked Contender hort 4337).

I was looking at the Braybrooke site because they are back delivering again and I fancied trying a mixed case but with delivery it was going to work out at over £3.20 for a 330ml bottle so I fucked it off.

I posted about this brewery before but if you are an NHS worker they do 50% discount as well.

Personally, I don't think NHS staff should be getting all these discounts.
Most of them are still working full time on full pay and may of them are making a fortune on overtime.

My sister in law who is a nurse and contracted COVID also agrees, she says many of her colleagues are a bit embarassed by it all.

I'll have her ID then please. I've no shame and am a helpless pisscan.

Big pub near us has erected a fuck off marquee over its car park

Micky d has probably seen it

I haven’t but I was speaking to owner last week. He’s losing £2k per week per pub or restaurant. He has 5.
he was talking about opening for take-away food and beer. I just wonder if he’s copying McDonalds and doing drive through only.

I bet Traf never clapped on a Thursday night either, and yes i do work for the NHS.

You know fuck all about me, so you've made a bet you'd lose.

I did clap and I believe that our NHS is absolutely magnificent and they've done an amazing job in extremely difficult circumstances.

I just don't get why somebody in full employment and on full pay should be given special treatment. Firemen, for example, risk their lives everyday, global pandemic or otherwise.

I bet you're a laugh at parties aren't you? And for the record any emergency service can get lots of discounts through the blue light scheme.

You've missed my point, so we'll leave it there.
