Roy Greaves etc , and even agree about Henrik Pedersson.

But would like to add a mainly forgotten face from a dark time where he was consistently the best player on the pitch in a White shirt.

Brian Borrows.

Went on to play for years at the top level without really ever grabbing the glory.

He got that goal at Old Trafford in 98 on the day of the 40th anniversary of Munich too. A very unexpected draw given we'd been hammered 1-5 at home to Coventry the week before.

I do think it had perhaps gone a bit stale for him , which it does in football from time to time.

I think the right manager would have re-energised him but we couldn’t the right manager so it was best for him to move on
