We had a Jack Russell/Maltese cross called Iggy. Named after one of my lads best mates at school - a lad from Hong Kong called 'Ignacius'. Regularly got called Iggy Pop but not Iggy Pup. Unbelievable how many Honkys and Singers are down here who have adopted the oddest 'Anglicised' names. Loads of Florence, Agnes, Ethel, Albert, Edmund etc. The Italian M-in-Law couldn't say it properly (beats me!) and called him 'Higgins' which I actually ended up preferring!
