We get these kind of names (Ballers FC, Evo etc), but they're generally confined to the expensive coaching companies league on a Saturday, as opposed to the Sunday league of proper grassroots teams.

In my area there's a club who name their teams after players so we've faced FC Ronaldo before

We have 3 teams that age, one who directly left Tika Taka cos of the way they treated kids, one which I eventually started. You must be in same division as one of them?

Not just kids- adults, vets and women. Confused sort; badge like Bayern, kit like Atleti, Barca motto. Call themselves an ‘academy’, offer elite players extra training for £30 a month (what our standard rate is). Parents fall for it- they sell the game as being the best, whereas in reality they pick, choose and discard as they please

Daughter broke her arm playing this morning. We’re absolutely gutted for her. 

A month or so out. Hopefully no surgery required or it could be longer.

Eldest lost 3-2 v Ribchester. Only had 11 which killed them as the game went on. 

Youngest lost 7-3 v Fulwood who shouldn't even be in our league they're that good, so quite chuffed with that score.

6-4 defeat away at Lytham for my lads under 15s this afternoon with a 2nd half played nearly in the dark.

Making a tackle. As she went to ground, she’s put her left hand out to break her fall and she’s just rolled her arm and it broke. Pretty innocuous really

Dunno exactly mate. She’s in with the fracture clinic again this week. She’s in a caste at the moment, but a temporary one(?) so they’ll put a proper caste on and probably give us a bit more info. Can’t get fuck all info during the weekend even though that’s what 90% of sports injuries occur

temporary one be due to the swelling, further x-ray once its gone down; hopefully its a buckle fracture so wont be too long, bless her

I have 2 lads playing on Saturdays and another starting within the next few weeks. I work every other Saturday so me and the missus take it turns to go to the eldests game as he plays in the Yorkshire league. So far she has had to travel to Sheffield, Huddersfield and Halifax and she has Doncaster this Saturday. (10am KO 🤢)  I’ve had to travel to Salford twice and 2 postponements 😂😂 she fkin hates me.
