Name the ground

I've honestly no idea on this one, hoping Mick older than Methuselah aka Leigh White will fill in the gaps.

My thoughts are Turf Moor, Molinuex or Leeds Road

Last time i stood on that terrace was the 2-2 we only need nine men game.

Those crash barriers being painted sky blue makes it a relatively modern pic.  I only remember them being green.

That 2-2 was one of the great days.  Why were you in the Burnley end?

Yep, I was in the seating next to them too . Kicked off when we scored and one of their lads, wearing a beret came off second best.

Great day that.

I had my young son with me that day and went on the home end so he could see the game, but the emotion got the better of me.

Now you got me thinking cannot see Walsall having seats along the side.

Its not WBA . Too small

Its not Birmingham.

That ground has changed so much, been on many times over the decades, and stood and sat on three different ends for so called away ends watching Bolton.

Columbo would be fucked getting to the bottom of this.

It's was easier finding " Spot the Ball " in the Buff.

The end closest to the street we all packed in 91.

Weren't their floodlights made by Watsons, the Bolton firm ?

Changing subject slightly,  Notts County floodlights were too. Wer played one season and Watson's were the main match sponsor with Watson's of Bolton al around the ground and programme.

Yeah. Hawthorns was almost identical to Burnden back in the day. Fucking old ‘un’s building these identikit grounds eh?

One man designed stands for over 25% of football league grounds (plus the same proportion of Scottish league grounds, major Irish grounds and Twickenham.

He was Archibald K Leitch (not to be confused with Cary Grant, who was Archibald A Leach).

I love the little caveat that Cary Grant didn’t design stadia.
