A male suspect was arrested and charged with several counts of murder on Wednesday, police said. The more he digs at the competition, the more their stock could rise.

These were similar to my thoughts when I heard about the exchange. 

This Russian fella's strengths were contacts and like the bloke in the video says 'understanding how the system works'. 

The other point is that it opens at least some sort of communication and good will between Biden and Putin. And that might be very important if they ever have to get around a negotiating table over Ukraine. 

That's my take anyway.

I’d be massively pissed off if I was a yank prisoner in another country and your leader has just released an international arms dealer in trade for another yank whilst you continue to fester in some Foreign  jail.
