Eight people, including six Asian women, were killed in shootings at three different businesses in Atlanta and Acworth, Georgia, on Tuesday, according to local police. A male suspect was arrested and charged with several counts of murder on Wednesday, police said. At a press conference in Atlanta on Wednesday, authorities identified the four victims killed in Cherokee County.

So it would seem, he can only afford to lose 4 people and 5 have said they will never vote for him.

The issue is nobody else wants it, even the 2 that got 20 votes Jorden and Byron both have said they don't want to be the speaker. 

But without a speaker the house can't operate, nothing gets done this is what is amusing the Dems, the GOP said there where ready to govern and they can't even choice a speaker. Even if he gets the nod he's a dead man walking he will have no power because he will have given it all up to get the job.

As the News Agents said yesterday - it just demonstrated how well she ran things - and she could count.

As you say he'll have no power, he's thown everything away just to get the position. Feel like an endgame.

if she didn't have the numbers, she would not bring it to a vote, simple really. Hes had a month to sort his shit out before the first vote, if he didn't know he didn't have the vote then he has no right to be speaker you have to know the room and it seems he has no clue.

the only rule for the house is you have to elect a speaker, then you can look at the rules but first and foremost you have to elect said speaker
