Loads of mps jet off all over the place for a myriad reasons.

Never get pilloried for "neglecting'" constituents.

Just part of the same group who can't accept a different political view.

So you think he's doing it for the good of his constituents? Hahahahahaha

Exit Pelosi as speaker and its job done. Hopefully the obnoxious bitch fucks off completely after the inside job on her husband.”

Guess which Australian bellend came up with this little beauty, the sanctimonious gobshite.

It's amusing because he was going over to America anyway for trump's election trail, no doubt on a paid gig, but now he's framing it as being there for trump in his hour of need

It's what politicians do I guess

Love that the narrative is now that it's the lefts fault for this pop at trump for inciting it, even though it was a republican who did it, plus January 6th and all that

The USA really is one of the best shows on TV

Yep. Local Clacton Press posted this article in the morning before the shooting:

https://www.clactonandfrintongazette.co.uk/news/24438054.clacton-mp-farage-confirms-will-go-usa-campaign-trump/

He's also missing the State Opening of Parliament and the King's Speech tomorrow - his first as an elected MP. What a surprise....

I just can't see Farage withstanding 5 years of proper scrutiny now he's in public office. He'll be swanning off to America in a couple of months campaigning for Trump, using "my constituents in Clacton" as a selling point, while they're back home smoking dried dog shit.

"I think for the people of Clacton, avoiding World War Three is quite important – and that’s what it’s about.”

As predictable as the rising of the sun.

Biden "It's time to put Trump in the bullseye".

Biden "Rhetoric in US politics is getting too hot. We need to cool it down".

Biden "I didn't say crosshairs".

"A republican" You have to be fucking joking.

“If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,” Mr. Trump said, as the crowd began to boo. He quickly added: “Although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is...”

Yeah a British social media alter ego comedian is why someone tried to assassinate Trump.

Nothing to do with the NRA, Republican Party, Trump’s behaviour or indeed the complete breakdown of civilized politics and society in the states.

The right really need to revaluate how much they hate stuff and people and how this approach and behaviour is only going to lead us down a more divisive path. The old ‘oh it’s the liberals that cause this’ is fine - it’s nonsense but fine. But maybe you know behave like adult humans in 2024 and then you could perhaps take some of the moral high ground. Thatcher and Reagan could because they knew how to conduct themselves. Why can’t the right now?

fake news?

State voter records show that he was a registered Republican, according to US media.

They're already claiming "he was only registered Republican to interfere with the nomination". Zero evidence of course, and ignoring the fact there are swathes of Republicans who can't stand the Trump cult.

Did you know he was recently in Spain conducting business?

The shooter appears to have donated to Democrat fundraiser on the day of Biden's inauguration, which would lend credence to the claims he registered Republican to vote against Trump in the primary

But he was wearing merchandise from the Demolition Ranch, a gun nut YouTube channel, and that hardly screams woke liberal

Anyone's guess

Not sure it matters what an individual's politics is over there.

Access to such weapons and Web sites to match is a recipe for disaster.

My first thought in anything like this is less what are their politics and more what mental health conditions might be there….

He was eating a daily full English washed down with San Miguel, the self aggrandising whopper.

The weapons thing is a funny one in that someone tries to kill trump and plenty folks first thought was "probably staged"

Over here Farage gets a milkshake thrown over him and people think it's a set up

Over there Because the gun thing is normal and so setting up something like that doesn't seem far fetched

Not a milkshake, an assassination attempt

They're fucked

Guy tries to murder someone...

Quick who did he vote for?

What a world :D

To be fair, in the context of the political climate it matters hugely

Of course he registered. For access reasons. Investigate political donations he made then come back and tell me. I thought you private detective types would be on to this in a flash.
