Fucking hell, Covid strikes again.

When should I start the in-the-cock injections?

Having said that, it's a lot less worse than the first time I had it a few years back.

Still working, and I couldn't do that first time around.

Hang on, I’m just trying to figure out if this is a more severe form or a weaker form of your previous dalliance with Covid.

Yeah that makes no sense whatsoever.

Probably a good job i've packed work in for the day and gone back to bed. Feel crap.

But what I meant to say was I don't feel as bad as the first time I had it. Still, I've just had a two hour kip in the afternoon which isn't normal and my head is fucking killing.

The first proper covid was a mean one. Just like flu (not man flu) in that it floored you for several days.

2nd time I got it was nothing more than a cold tbh.

The missus had it three times but she's a nurse in A&E so expected and the last one hardly registered, she has a couple of days off not to spread it more than anything else.

Still not sure why folk are testing.

Had it twice for sure.

Thought I'd had it for a third time as symptoms were very similar, but continued to be negative.

My other half had to test regularly for her job

Got loads of kits from work so used them as well for me. Nowt

She got it, I didn't even though we live together

Because I started feeing rough on Friday night at the theatre and there was loads of old folks there, was getting worse over the weekend, it didn't feel like a normal cold, and was due to go to the opening of one of our shows on Sunday night so I thought I'd better test as not to pass anything nasty on. Glad I did.

That's the thing, because it was a novel virus, some people's immune system went nuts and it was their immune response that actually killed them. There are loads of other strange reactions and complications as we are all different. Long covid is a real thing for some and will be studied for decades.

Strange isn't it.

Maybe you're a natural covid buster- offer your body to Pfizer et al! 😀

My other half has had it three or four times and I never got it and she hasn't this time I have.

We always get it in winter at press night/shows though. Had three openings last week, hundreds of strangers in a closed room with the heating on.

That's a shocker.

My mum hasn't had it, and even now, with a supposed less dangerous virus, it can still do this.

Will continue to do a test if not right.

Would you stay off if it was the flu?

Problem there is knowing if you actually have flu.

Comes down to common sense in the end. If you're rough as fuck, don't go in!

Flu is brutal

Not just a cold that folk think it is

Indeed.

Remember my dad having it when I was little.

He was in bed for days, and rough as fuck.

Scary trying to talk to him and him being barely conscious. Just exhausted.

Always stuck with me.

Can see why it claims people too.
