Yet some would still have him back in charge in a heartbeat.

Let’s move on FFS.

How much is all this bollocks costing?

Typical UK, not happy until we get someone hung/drawn and quartered.

I wonder how many other countries across the world are wasting money they haven’t got with enquiries?

It's a valuable lesson learning exercise. These kinds of inquiries go on constantly, they just rarely make the news.

Most of the topics they inquire about aren’t things which affected every single person in the country to be fair.

I am fairly sure most countries are, at least 'western' ones with the resources to do so. This enquiry has no power other than to highlight where things went well and where things didn’t and to learn from it.

Just say sorry

And blame someone else

So you're happy with the "eat out to help out" which is said to have spread the virus

The person who said that is the current PM

You don't think he should be questioned over that

Look back about 8 pages - that was all answered then

France , Italy and Sweden off the top of my head, but not as many as you'd imagine. Some because they felt it was dealt with well, and in the US some have been trying to get something going but I'm not sure how thats going.

we have loads of money

so much money we are happy to score political points by pretty much stopping processing illegals asylum seekers and putting em on a ridiculously overpriced barge in hotels, then moaning about the cost

so if we want to spend a bit more to see what truly incompetent cunts we elected, i think its all good

Matt Handcock is coming out of this all very badly.

He's a national joke now.

I wonder if his girlfriend is regretting leaving the owner of Oliver Bonas for him?

Those technology lessons went well then...

Glad my wife isnt on twitter.

I don't like the bloke but just look how far we have fallen from just the basics of responsibility and accountability.

More squirming and lies today at the Covid enquiry

Surely no one believes that excuse as it's an easy get out clause if eventually caught out

But he's apologised before probably moving on to blame someone else which seems to be the theme of this inquiry
