It is, and I hope you know that nor what we do really.

We have a very decent accountancy firm and a good business account which they look after for us.

Well done. Give yourself a clap.

This all started because your mate Nigel said he was being shunned by a bank because of his Political opinions... but now it's just personal gripes about perfectly normal Banking practices?

I’ve no interest in Nigel Farages bank accounts, like I’ve said my reply was to TMGJ highlighting what he said has been happening for years. What part of that isn’t true?

Moving large amounts of physical cash these days is generally to avoid tax or prying eyes looking for illegal activity.

Card or bank transfer covers 99% of my needs.

A friend of mine possibly sells scrap copper to a bloke who only carries £50 notes. Doesn’t seem keen on informing the authorities for some reason.

He’d wait 2 days if needs be, that I do know,

Of course. 🤦‍♂️

I’m not the one who’s spent days talking about it.

Every bank has a limit on cash withdrawals.

If you want over about £10k the bank will want a couple of days notice.  They also have a legal obligation under AML regs to check what the money is for. It sounds 'big brother' but if you think it through , why would some one suddenly need £15k in cash one day ? If you are paying that much to a legitimate business they will accept electronic payments. Most banks have these rules on their websites and surprisingly in the small print we all sign when take an account.

The rules are there to protect people from scams and frauds. Branches unfortunately get a regular stream of older customers who suddenly need a few grand in cash because some twat has discovered a hole in their roof/boiler/garden shed that has to be for today to stop the world ending .

When I transferred a lump sum of 150k from my pension to pay off our mortgage I could not just transfer money using online banking. I had to go into a branch, explain what the money was for and then pay for a special transfer. I thought it was OTT but the woman in the bank explained they get lots of requests and a high % are dodgy even though the customers think they are legit. It is shit but with high value transactions people can see their life savings disappear and although the rules are inconvenient they are needed.

Senior bankers are some of the most ruthless cunts in the world, look how quickly mortgage rates go up compared to savings.

The people who've been talking about it for days are your gullible pals who think the banks are conspiring against Brexiters because Nigel told them so...

Have a flick back on here and see who’s been discussing it more. Me or you. Who do you think?

Nope, just keep working hard son.

Quick thing Rwanda, stop making yourself look like a tit. You are better than that. Just.

Did you get your cash in £50 notes, or a mixture of £10, £20 & £50’s

Don’t tell Farage, he’ll fall out with you.

I reckon we're pretty equal. 🤷‍♂️

But getting back to the actual subject matter - do you think Nigel Farage's bank account was closed because of his political opinions? Your mates do.

Imagine being on a terrace on Mayfair, but keep wanting to come on here to show yourself up. What a sad individual. It’s kind of cute how I’m rent free though sweety x

Well done! You've managed to directly answer a simple question! See how easy it is?

Why did you have to ask me again I had already told you. Are you honestly that simple?

Yet I’m still waiting for you to answer mine. The irony.

Wait until he tells you the can't stop laughing tale of when he pulled his sons pants down in front of his class during lockdown.

What a guy.

They can. Not without due cause, but if they asked an old dear why she needed £15k  and she said it was to pay the man who had come round to fix her boiler for example or if a big lump had just landed in the account from an unusual source especially one overseas. Terrorism being the obvious worry.

But for the vast majority of us in the vast majority of cases you get your money for the fruity as you need it.

Oh I know they can. It’s tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum who said they can’t.
