I feel sorry for those that need to do it to appear interesting or part of a crowd.

Coke has absolutely destroyed British nightlife. Nothing worse than a group of cunts on that stuff.

Links in to the rise in knife crime as well with groups of yoof doing the dirty work for the dealers

Just got back from watching Lottery Winners in Vienna. In great form, best I’ve seen them since the Apollo. Only a few hundred there so they did a bit of a show of hands and it was probably 50/50 between Austrian and English which was a bit mad really.

Yoof jnr at the San Siro being persuaded to see them tonight

anyone had any luck sourcing oasis tickets yet

Just noticed TV on the Radio are playing the Albert Hall the day before Glasto, all over that

Saw Stiff Little Fingers in York last week.  Old Jake might have put on a few pounds but he/they cant half still bang out some great songs. Love watching bands from this era and growing old with them.  Catch them whilst you can….

Nearly sacked this off as couldn't be arsed after a very boozy last day of the season

Glad I didn't though

Great gig, mental band, trippy big screen, light shows, big inflatables, massive balloons, random folk in random outfits, lots of confetti

would like to have watched it high

going watching Supergrass on Friday at Albert Hall

these aniversary album gigs are all well and good but they make me feel proper old

30 years for I Should Coco

was 18 when it came out, just finished sixth form, passed driving test, Bolton promoted to Premier League, red hot summer and off to uni

happy fucking days

but also, Albert Hall only 1800ish capacity, sold out in seconds, didn't get any

so signed up on Twickets

and even then demand meant I was beaten to the tickets for about 2 weeks constant before I got lucky

had a look back at my emails

78 alerts so far in the last 17 days, selling a combined total of 317 tickets which is nearly a fifth of what went on sale

yeah, I reckon you wil get the odd single ticket popping up but good luck as everyone will be on it straight away

with Supergrass, initally, if I saw the email say 10 minutes later, they were gone

if i clicked on the link soon as I got the email it told me someone else was buying them

the first chance I got to buy was for 4, so I bought them, cost me nearly £180 - asked around if anyone was up for it, no one was, so put the other 3 back on as one, and had zero interest

then took down and put back on as 3 individual tickets and they all went right away

probably cost me £70 in total (as opposed to £40) which I would've happily paid anyway

but 2 days before and there's plenty going spare now with selllers accepting offers

Get Together all dayer in Sheffield tomoz, some really good bands on. Bearded Theory festival from Wednesday, another top lineup there.

they've turned email alerts off on oasis tickets due to demand

Kaiser Chiefs tickets at Argyle tomorrow reduced to tenner . Hopefully Sherlocks and Lottery Winners make it worthwhile .

Throwing Muses in Brizzle Monday for some quality

Slam Dunk on Sunday in Leeds loads of decent new bands on the bill I'll be spending most of my day watching bands that peaked 20yrs ago

Third time seeing them- anniversary of my second favourite album which they are playing the whole way through.

Sad thing is no one likes them but me 😄 and oddly Richard Ayoade who played guitar on their lat gig - and was brilliant.
