I accept they aren’t a quintet of classically trained nose-fluters from Ulaan Bataar, or an achingly cool indie outfit from Cambridge uni with complex time signatures and chord structures that are beyond the musical wit of anyone with an IQ under 150, but to suggest this tour isn’t “big” is laughable. green genie Posted July 4, 2025 Posted July 4, 2025 Short of the ABBA-Tars tech being applied to the Beatles it is hard to imagine a bigger demand in the UK. Lowest common denominator but that they’ve got away with people paying 500 notes to sit in the gods 100m from stage and be happy with it with about 50 quids worth of marketing speaks volumes. I was glad didn’t do the Roses reunion shows to spoil memories of 1989/90 trinity of events and couldn’t think of anything worse than being in the coked up hordes duh, duhing through the sets to spoil memories of Knebworth when it felt like watching history Quote

It was the reference to 'the big one starts tomorrow' that made me chuckle. Hope all that are going have a good time. 👍 Quote

It'll be like the Queen show at Wembley - loads of amazing bands doing Sabbath covers and joining the band on stage for others. The line up is mind blowing really. Quote

Not in Crawley Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 Well, it was worth the £33 quid - some rubbish moments Halestorm I thought are awful, like a bad Dio and not a fan of Rival Sons but overall was a brilliant gig. Pantera's Planet Caravan a highlight. Quote
