Not in Crawley Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Yeah saw that - it's Sharon Osborne of course it's going to be pricey as. £795 for the top top seats. Bonkers. Quote
Duck Egg Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Talking of ticket prices, anyone used stub hub? I was trying to get a couple of tickets for a Hamburg game when we're there next month. Went on the site, got quoted £45 each for 2. Got to checkout and they were asking £178. They'd added 'handling charges' or similar. Robbing fecks. Quote
tshape Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Flogging Molly have cancelled all gigs in 2025 coz front man Dave King is "battling a very serious health condition". Gutted. They're one of the best live bands around. Quote

I'm off to the ticketing conference in Manchester in March to say how we're fucking up and we need to be stronger to the inside commissions. But, essentially, the seat you buy is only as much value as the popularity of it. It's no different from airlines. Never go in to gig tickets first. There will always be better seats. So for NIN we bought 10 seats, decided which were the best, and then resold the rest. Made a bit of money of it as well. Quote

I mean, people can pick them up on the TM resale for this gig very easily. No idea why someone would pay that wee bit extra for what were pretty rubbish seats. But yes, I totally agree, morally it's pretty indefensible. Quote
tshape Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Moz tickets sorted. That'll be my first visit to co-op live Quote
