What if the doormen won't let you back in because it's packed 😁

Then I nip to Tesco for some cans and take them to my room 😂

Should be bottles bars, no fucking about pouring flat pints.

Been saying that since the Rod Stewart concert. Card payment only and plastic bottles. Quick service and a decent drink instead of the piss we serve on draught.

Every fucker has been saying this all season, we must be tied into some brewery deal... fucking Carling, that's okay for Casino and the AHM, but for those who like a quality beer it's shit!

Don’t buy the Carling but Coors Light is generally my drink of choice these days. All are available in plastic 500ml bottles based on experience at other grounds.

Queue busters are always the way forward for half time pints.

Ipswich was a small compact bar area and it worked a treat just efficient staff is all you need

At the end of the day, you don't go to a football match expecting a decent pint. Pipes only get used once or twice a week at most. Shit beer is just an unavoidable part of the experience.

Not inevitable it'll be shit if it's in a bottle though is it?

no it's not , just not run correctly, this has been mentioned loads of times , with  a bit of investment , could double their takings

Agreed, it just needs to be drinkable. The slop we serve up must be one of the worst in the league.

Fortunately I don't buy it, mainly because it is shite!, I may get a cider every now and again.

they don't serve andy peters

Bet if I buy you a pint tomorrow you will drink the fucker😀

Suppose not. But bottles take up a lot more space, and people would still complain about it being too warm. It's an unsolvable conundrum.

Its Great that there is gonna be a good crowd on, unfortunately we will be up and down like yo-yo's when the kids want a piss every 10 minutes.

.... no change there then 😏

It’s like that in the upper west every match. No kids there though.😊

I disagree, but I might be wrong. North Lower only has/had 1 card payment queue per kiosk, which is mental considering the prevelance of contactless these days. I haven't bothered at half time this season anyway. My kids would rather stay in their seats in the open air for 15 minutes than congregate with thousands in a semi-confined space. If they weren't with me, I'd be queuing for a pint on 40 minutes.

Wouldn't matter if they were giving the ale away for free in the NSL at the last Sarurday home game, the bar staff hadn't got a bloody clue what they were doing. I know cos I suffered every minute of it

What would be your plan if you were tasked with serving a couple of thousand people in a 15 minute window, once or twice a week?

Was chatting to a Grimsby fan i work with

They do fan zone and serve local Docks  Brew ar £3.50 a pop

As for food, this pisses all over anything we do

Kiosks aren't fit for purpose.
Not wide enough, nor deep enough for starters.

Where would they go though?

Grimsby's ground only holds 9000, and it's rarely over half-full.

Yep, and emptied systematically.
Have cases of beer in a cold room nearby and as one fridge empties, sell from the next and have someone refilling the empty one.

how many times do i have to say this ?

rearrange the bar layout.

not rocket science

In the wider, deeper kiosks...

You never watched Phil & Kirsty? Just knock loads of walls down.

I do think the outside space is very much under utilised though. Get it fenced off during the first half and get a few outside bars sorted. You’d think no bugger would use them during the winter, but these people weren’t stood drinking beer outside the away end at Peterborough the week before Christmas.
