The new cars look much better and fingers crossed they can race much closer due to the huge aerodynamic changes.

It's going to be interesting for sure because brand new rules always throw up surprises. 

Red Bull and Ferrari look strong, Mercedes a bit off the pace but not by too much I don't think.

I'm just going to wait for the Netflix series next year. Just condense the whole season into 8 bite sized chunks for me, ta very much.

It's dull as fuck otherwise.

Lots of Ferrari parts and most importantly their engine which is rapido.

McLaren look utter shite which is disappointing.

I am hoping for a season of Max being a cunt and losing big due to penalties, mainly from crashing into Leclerc, then Sainz or a merc driver to take the season.

Looks like the new regs might work this year to make it closer. Haas in the top 10. Bottas fantastic in the Alfa.

My mate who I lived with at uni is out there. I fucked around, got a jobs as a sales rep, spent my life boozing, clubbing, following BWFC. He worked as an accountant, moved to Italy, stopped following Spurs, came home, set up his own accountancy company, rolled the cash in

Obvs not jealous at all. Word out there is throw the old order out the window. The new regs are a massive game changer. Expect lower order runners to be up there. Bottas is a hot tip to be top 4 this year

Right - quest to get into formula 1 starts this afternoon. After a brief hour watching qualifying last night. 

My stupid question is - do they have to have a new car every year? And if not - how can a car like Mercedes drop off the pace so much in a couple of months?

The regs have been fairly static for a good few years, just tweaks each season to a standard set.

This year is the biggest change from previous since I can remember, a completely different way of gaining downforce through the floor rather than wings. Only time I can think of something so different was when they went for refueling which was shite.
