March 20, 20224 yr Only just watched it. That was hard keeping away from any media so as to watch it “live” The new regulations seem to have made it so much better. Lots of overtaking and midfield cars far more bunched up @kent_whitekeep with it. You’ll pick up the strategy stuff as you go along. Less complicated this season with teams free to choose their starting tyres Anyway. Great race. Those Ferraris look good. Really good. Merc have a problem but you just know that will be sorted out. McLaren seem to have a bigger problem. Look like they are in a world of shit. Midfield battle this year looks like it will be immense. Really hope this first race is the shape of how the season will go

March 20, 20224 yr How can I forget to mention….. Christian Horner Zero points Nothing Neither car finished Massive waste of money whereas Toto the accountant is counting the folding stuff Stick that up your Spice Girl

March 25, 20224 yr Some people only watch F1 for the crashes. Suspect a few will be tuning in this weekend in case there's a fucking missile strike.
March 25, 20224 yr Absolutely mental situation. If they can blow an oil depot up, they’ll have no problem targeting the grand prix or the huge amount of shit that surrounds it. Id be on a plane home if I was a driver.

March 27, 20224 yr Whoever the race technician was on Lewis’s car yesterday I reckon has a ring piece like a volleyed peach this morning. Set it up ready to race on sand dunes ffs
March 27, 20224 yr Author They need to sort that Merc out, the engine is below par and clearly the aero just isn't working.

March 27, 20224 yr Just now, kent_white said: How come Hamilton was so much slower than his teammate? Set his car up differently to George. Lewis said he picked the settings but I’m calling bollocks and he’s just taking the flack off his team and engineers.

If you don't have the balance right you can't ever be 100% committed to the corner and that means you are slower. Lewis and his team couldn't get it right at all, George and his did a bit better.

Said it before Lewis is a brakes driver. Yesterday wasn’t set right for the brakes in the corners If there isn’t a DNF today I’ll show my arse If there isn’t a safety car I’ll tuck in my chopper and show my arse Edited March 27, 20224 yr by Rudy

Do they have different engineers as well then? I always imagined they'd be the same!

March 27, 20224 yr 1 hour ago, kent_white said: Do they have different engineers as well then? I always imagined they'd be the same! Both drivers have the same car but both have their own team of engineers that can set the car up differently to their liking, or not, in lewis' case yesterday. I agree with Rudy, the way Lewis likes to be a team player, win and lose together, I suspect he is covering for someone to take the heat from them.
March 27, 20224 yr Red bull 1-2 today I would imagine. But, it’s a naughty circuit this one and there’ll be a few safety cars which could produce a surprise winner.
