I liked the queen. And to a degree, as a parent I do understand how she’d protect her own lad.

Generally, she was a magnificent monarch, but in this instance she was just a mum, unable to really know what to do for the best.

But she knew what she was doing when she paid her off

She was sparing him from being found guilty in court

Because like everyone else, she knew he was, as demonstrated by when she stripped him of all his titles 

And she also gave nonce defenders and apologists the chance to say "but he was never found guilty of anything in court" when pretending he's not a nonce

On a side note,I see petrol stations have not wasted any time putting up prices even though they've got plenty of fuel bought when it was at the cheaper rate

Wonder if they put it down as quick

It is very annoying, though not surprising. 

Would imagine it will go up more too.

Mad how quickly these things go up, but how slowly they come down.. I do imagine though that a lot of businesses and people are buying as much up as they possibly can as soon as they can.

Indeed.

My other half filled up Sunday.

No doubt plenty of others will do too, so that will drain stocks of the "cheaper" fuel even quicker.

One of the stand outs of my time down under so far is petrol and diesel is pretty much half the price of the UK
