A property will rent for the going rate, the going rate is far too high but the fella advertising it doesn't set that. I dont know who he is but I am also not sure why it matters?

Well, nice to see the tactical voting worked. Canterbury North remains Lib Dem by less than 200 votes from Reform, Labour got 433 so it would have been a waste.

Of the rest of the area, only Herne Bay went Reform which isn't surprising as its the most economically deprived of the boroughs. The rest Lib Dem and Greens. Odd considering this used to be Tory heartland territory.

aye, £650 seems high to me for Radcliffe

but this modern one with an kitchen/oven right next to the sofa in the living room is £750

It will go for the price renters are willing to pay. The owner or advertising agent doesn't control that. Capitalism is brilliant isn't it?

My mates got a few and he thinks he's doing a public service by giving people an opportunity to live in a nice house who might not normally get a mortgage... Ignoring the fact that they can't get a mortgage because usually, people like him make it so...
