Indeed. Hope you are well by the way after all the health stuff.

I'm getting there thank you. I've never been wrapped right, but even less now and on medication for life. My biggest fear is bumping into Kent White at the local A&E 😉

Hope you and yours are all well too and you've recovered from your recent trip to Wigan ☺

Was stuck there for a hour last night, thoroughly depressing ☺

Kent will do you right, although I think hes in a more management role; so he'll be good a processing you if you turn your toes up.

Wigan was bizarre but the stuff that ThickSkin are doing is amazing - worth your coin.

What is it with the transport in Wigan? Its gridlocked for hours at rush hour. Baffles me.

I'm not an accountant but was referring to you saying Hitchin is the place accountants live, or summat like that

I do have an old Casio calculator that can do fractions if that helps

Like you say, the transport in Wigan is mental. Almost missed my train last night due to the traffic. I've found it much easier driving to Lancaster 40 miles up the road and caught the same train on the west coast line.

Best part of Wigan are the deep chunky steak pies from Galloways, delightful ☺

Ah fair enough.

I would like to do better with my French though as its only an hour away here and I felt like such a prang this summer bumbling though - I did German at school and was rubbish at it - so maybe a Bolton/French tutorial 😄

On immigration. I did an A Level in history and dispite me bellowing 1415 over the cliffs, no on seems to pay much attention.

Who are you going to talk to whilst he's having imaginary conversations? 🤣

I'll tame the boy 😉

Chatted on the phone years ago and we'll get on fine in person over a beer or two

They are ok, but I simply refuse to say anything from Wigan is better (apart from early Verve)

Yes, those early days were good

We're 8 miles apart from those people, yet the accent is totally alien. I've plenty of Wigan folk via work who I class as friends, but fuck me, their lingo is off the scale 😂

Actually, the best part is probably the train station when I'm heading up here for the weekend

Folk on here know what I do on twitter and why we do it

Tomorrow, the chap we remember is quite special.

A Lieutenant Commander who served in both World Wars, born in New Zealand, married in Bootle, lived in Llandudno, died on active service and buried in Glasgow, some effort

They're the good people

Well, ive lived down in the South East for 25 years. And almost every day someone goes...'where you from? Are you on holiday?"

No, my eldest daughter serves you your pint in our local.

Then...'oh, you've not lost your accent.'

Are they that arrogant that I'd change how I speak? Yes. Because Southerners think to change means betterment.

So no. I sound like I am from Bolton. Because I am from Bolton.

Fuck me, I'll slit my throat when bluelighted again mate 😂

And this 100% why i would never go into the health sector.

Although we just got a 30k gig from the NHS to run media to try and get more drs who are newly qualified to be cancer specialists.
