I will correct myself somewhat....I posted having read about his statement and unfortunately had to go and sit through listening to the 2 twats Carragher and Neville to listen for myself. 

     So now whilst agreeing with Wright I certainly feel it's just a small minority who want to get at Bellingham because of his colour,  unfortunately it's an agenda pushed by some of our gutter press.

I agree there does seem to be a narrative round Bellingham from certain sections in the press for some bizarre reason.

That Daily Mail bloke was totally wrong the other day and made a back page headline out of fuck all.

Bellingham comes across a touch arrogant but fuck me he's still a kid and already won a CL, La Liga player of season and captained Dortmund. 

The lads a superstar, not many come without a bit of brash arrogance. 

The press narrative is nothing to with him being black mind. That's just silly.

I'd argue Israeli teams shouldnt be participating in sports the same as the Russians. But the reactions of potential knobheads towards the fans get have nothing to do with them being Jewish.

Criticism of the actions of Israel and it's supporters is no more anti-Semitic than criticism of Saudi Arabia and it's supporters is islamophobic.

It just so happens they’re Jewish and were playing in a highly populated Muslim area. 
 

But still it doesn’t look good does it…..the police couldn’t guarantee their safety because they were from Israel. Not a good look is it.

I don't think the authorities thought we don't like Jews or we will ban them because they are Jewish.

Them being Jewish played a part though. By being from Israel they are de facto Jewish.

The reason there may have been hostilities is because they are Jewish and may have targeted local Muslim areas or they themselves may been targeted by Muslims.

It is definitely to do with him being black. It's absolutely blatant, but some would rather feign ignorance and excuse it as "some bizarre reason" rather than simple Racism, presumably because it makes them feel better.

I see people call his ability on here. People say he's arrogant and acts like a child on the pitch.

In the press I just think there's some kind of fascination within the media to bring people down as quick as they build them up.
