  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

  • Anyone who thinks Starmer covered up for grooming gangs because he in some way thinks it’s ok, is off their fucking box. Hes a dull as shit, methodical legal cunt. Unfortunately, to get justice p

Not sure I agree. There is an issue specifically with men of Packistani heritage. Ignoring that is hiding from the problem , in the same way the Catholic Church ignoring the behaviour of certain priests for years allowed abuse to continue. It does need to be called out IMO

The problems IMO come when people then turn round and say all Packistani men are at it ( posted before that my missus ex told his kids not eat to curry as it might be made by a child rapist! - it was not just bantz either) or that becomes the sole focus of people’s attention. As has been said on here numerous times I think it makes people comfortable that such horrible crimes are committed by ‘them’ whereas the vast majority of sexual and domestic violence happens within family units  ( not all of it though !) do it happens by people who look like ‘us’. And the probability is that we all know folk who are committing these crimes. (To be clear not suggesting people are protecting abusers but abuse is going on all the time)

The Packistani grooming gangs are unusual it that the abuse is crossing ethnic lines a lot of the time, whereas as most abuse happens between people with the same ethnic background ( logical when you think it mainly happens within families)

Some good points

Similar to where I’m at with it all

You do come across as a proper National Socialist at times

Have a read about Zwarte Piet in the Netherlands!

I learnt about Black Pete last year, at my work Xmas do.

He's still massively polarising, generally young folk think it's outrageous to have white people "blacking up" and, generally older people saying it's harmless fun that's been going on for years. They can get quite heated about it.

My company’s head office is in the Netherlands and they allow staff to bring their kids into the office the week before Xmas and they do this black Pete thing.

Pete was a chimney sweep clearing the path for Santa and the black is supposed to represent soot

hes not a slave, or a black person or anything else. Generally, I think it’s pretty widely accepted and enjoyed. Any outrage most often comes from outside the Netherlands and point it inwards

Dispersal order in place for Bolton town centre.

I was in town around 5pm. It was brewing then. Not going into detail but It’s becoming a little bit edgy. Hopefully, the police statement will reassure the regulars who go in the Town Centre regularly.

Because I like to see the full facts before making a judgement. What I did see was large groups of black and Asians youths in the Market Place being moved along by the security staff. Probably  around 30-40.
I’ve never seen that before in my town.

Whilst I'm sickened at the grooming gangs activities were covered up/ ignored  I feel just the same, probably more outraged at the systemic cover up of paedophilia engaged in by the upper echelons in our society.....Royalty, politicians, various religious figures, the police, the BBC...... There is hope that the monsters of all races will be hunted down and face their punishment but those at the top never will......The occasional one might get thrown to the lions but even then their punishments are insultingly pathetic. This country is rotten to the core.

I agree with all this but the last sentence applies to every county in the world. Rich entitled people who act above the law and get away with it.

Also it’s not just the rich. There’s plenty of “normal folk” who are getting away with it

Fair point, you posted something the other day about folk having their tools nicked. You know someone somewhere is sat in a pub buying those tools.

First time I've heard this story

Why was he surprised?

Why was he surprised?

Because he expected it to be the gangs of lads he sees hanging round the town centre normally who are predominantly of non-white extraction.

He said it looked organised and the social media rumour mill he looks at were saying the same (I assume things like Snapchat and TikTok that I don’t use as I’m too old).

I was surprised too. My recent visits to the town centre have confirmed that there are lots of shady characters knocking about and making it an uneasy place to be.

So who was it causing the trouble.?

He tells me two gangs were facing off.

To be honest, I’ve been in Portugal working for a few days until this afternoon so it’s just been a brief discussion because I was more concerned for his safety than theirs.
