Really good first half, although they obviously got a bollocking at half time. only thing being if we had got a second p, for me it would have been game over. second half, backs to the wall and thought the defence coped superbly. bit wasteful when we had chances to break. all hopes of a second went when dion went off. overall, really good win, with 2 home games to come.

Portsmouth have still sold 1500 for Wigan - train strike or not. for a local game I am surprised and we haven’t got the larger end either.

Should have been game over at half time and slippers and cigars second half. some awful misses and even their commentators at half time couldn’t believe they were still in it. fortunate equaliser, then we fell apart. 3 points dropped, they had only won 3 in 19 before today. the sub strikers were woeful ok the ref wasn’t great but that really is a gift that we have just tossed away

Some of the play and misses from the forwards was very poor. Clean sheet and creating some good opportunities and scoring 3 is a great start though.

Crap away game, expensive trains, takes ages, miles from the centre. Its a no from me.

They were in the championship play offs last season. the gulf in divisions is huge, we need to be scoring a lot higher percentage of the few chances we make and invariably the higher teams make a lot more chances and are more clinical never going to win this cup - now concentrate on league and retaining papa johns

10 points from 5, replicate that throughout the season and we go up. let ourselves down last 2 games. Be tough to get 4 from derby and reading though. strange yesterday, great save from Baxter similar to their save from vic. they should have scored first half when they went round the goalie, but we should have scored again second half. so point gained or 2 lost ? didn’t really see the “reaction” first half that evatt said the players were hurting from the Wigan result and keen to bounce back - it was the same ineptness. better second half and really end to end.

A complete shambles. no back bone, no leadership, no passion, no quality, no hunger or no desire. dempsey for me and that’s about it. toal, the Viking, Charles and Thomason back in next week. midfield was far too weak. Morley and Sheehan were none existent. nlundulu is just not at the races. 2 really poor goal keeping errors. we seem to have a habit of not turning up for derby games and in fairness, evatt seemed to relay those sentiments. positive is, 3 wins from 4 and joint top. (Albeit 3 at home)Would have taken that when the fixtures came out. Now need to replicate that again with the next 4.
